Another HOT instalment in this series from Jackie that has you turning page after page and marvelling at the workings of Jackie's mind.
The story continues from book one in where they are investigating what was going on with Alex's fathers casino and the link to Conrad South's casino in Monte Carlo. South being an old enemy of Alex.
Katya is Alex's bodyguard and also holds her own secrets and pain, pain that she too has buried deep. Both end up helping each other and healing their pain as Katya refuses to give up on Alex as he constantly tries to push her away. She is the only one that has ever refused to give up on him.
The emotions between the two characters feel real and leap off the page and you can't help but want the characters to hook up and stay together.
Katya shows great strength as events go on and she helps Alex overcome many fears and stand up to the events of his past, we also get to see a little of the other members of the Nine Circles.
I greatly anticipate the next book in the series with Zac and Eva.
