Heated (Most Wanted #2) by J. Kenner

The Book
Release Date: 3 June 2014

I knew better than to risk my heart.
But fierce passion comes at a high price.

I grew up believing in right and wrong, good and evil, black and white. I knew better than to trust. And then I met Tyler Sharp.

Bold, charming, and dangerously sexy, Tyler always gets what he wants. But his smile can be deceiving, his dealings sordid, his ambitions ruthless. I thought I was the one woman strong enough to resist him, but our need for each other was too urgent to deny.

One look and I was in trouble. One touch and I was hooked. One night and I became his.

And now that I’ve fallen, there’s no going back.

Heated is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

My Opinion  5 STARS
**Copy provided by NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group for an honest review**

This book was just as good as the first and was just as face flaming hot.

Tyler had a very sharp mind and also had a domineering but sweet streak. He knew what he wanted, and he wanted Sloane.

Sloane Watson is our story teller, although i do wish that we had some from Tylers POV.

Sloane is a cop who is looking for a friend whilst on medical leave after having been shot. As her friend had been working at Destiny before disappearing she tries to infiltrate the club to find out what happened.

Both Sloane and Tyler are drawn to each other but they start of both playing games with each other, but end up falling for each other and revealing their darkest secrets.

A seriously hot read.

Dead in Bed: The Complete Novel by Bailey Simms

The Book
Release Date: 4 February 2014

You've never, ever read a book like this.

Now available in one complete edition, the critically acclaimed Dead in Bed is partly a suspense thriller with a strikingly original story, partly a page-turning mystery about a disease that makes anyone infected hopelessly crave sexual contact, and partly a neo-western adventure through the American heartland. If you can handle a smart, controversial protagonist who's willing to do anything—no matter how difficult or morally questionable—in order to survive, the series will pull you in with the force of an unshakeable addiction.

Dead in Bed: The Complete Novel is a collection of the full Dead in Bed serialized novel (Parts 1 - 7 of 7)

* * *
As emotionally incisive as it is shockingly sexy, as heartbreaking as it is hilarious, the hyper-talented Bailey Simms' tour-de-force series is harder to put down than books by writers twice her age.

Dead in Bed follows Ashley, an everyday girl who's stuck in an unsatisfying relationship and a dead-end job. But when a sexually-transmitted plague breaks out in her small town, slowly leaving anyone infected with a bizarrely amplified libido, everything about her life changes.

Facing quarantine, draconian martial law, the onset of winter, and a rapidly-spreading plague, Ashley, her family, her friends, and everyone else in her small American town find their true feelings for one another surfacing—both amorously and violently.

When everyone in Ashley's life begins taking comfort in one another's arms, no one really knows who's infected with the plague and who's not. And because the disease perpetuates itself as an aphrodisiac, sex, the very thing that offers comfort, only contributes to spreading the plague.

In a crumbling world with little to lose, however, Ashley begins to discover a desire to live she didn't know she possessed and opportunities she's never had. Her newly-acquired agency may come at a price, however, when Ashley ultimately must choose between her own survival and the people she loves.

My Opinion  5 STARS
** Copy provided by the author for an honest review**

Sometimes its good to get out and read something you would never normally read.  I've never been into the Zombie scene, however the write up of this book had me intrigued especially as they were sex craving zombies.  Certainly not the way they have been portrayed before, so I agreed to give the book a go, thinking if I didn't like it I wouldn't be too disappointed.

I'm glad I did give this book a go.  It hooked me in from the first page and was a refreshing change.  Its also hard to believe with the body of writing that this is the authors debut novel.  Even the authors note at the end of each chapter became endearing.

A lot happens throughout this book and although there are sex scenes, they are not too explicit, nor are there too many considering the "sexed up" zombies.

Ashley the main character grew stronger as the book developed in character as she tackled the fight with those that had contracted TGV, the non treatable virus that through sex turns you into a zombie too.

Definitely worth a read and I am looking forward to the second book which should clear up some of the issues that book one leaves.  An author to watch out for.

Sunroper (Goddesses Rising #3) by Natalie J. Damschroder

The Book
Release Date: 31 December 2013

Marley Canton is done being a victim. A year and a half has passed since she discovered her ability to nullify power in those who aren’t supposed to have it. She’s now on a quest not only to stop the brats who’ve become addicted to goddess power, but also to find the source of their addiction.

Like Marley, Gage Samargo is tracking down the goddess who went rogue decades ago. Insane with too much power from the sun, she’s selling that energy to Gage’s younger brother and his friends, who are no longer content to come into power naturally. While they work to find a way to neutralize the goddess, Marley discovers that every time she nullifies someone, she takes on some of the goddess’s insanity.

Gage falls for Marley’s sharp wit and intense desire to right wrongs. But once he discovers she’s turning into her enemy, is it too late to back away?

My Opinion  5 STARS
This book was a brilliant ending to a brilliant series.

Marley shows great strength and forgiveness in this book.  Not only with what she has already endured, but with who she partners up with and in what she continues to do, even when she finds out it could send her insane or even kill her.

All of the previous characters are involved to some degree which is great as this book happens a about six months after the second book and starts a few days before Sam and Riley's wedding.

Gage is the son of the Head Numina, the Gods of mortals like Marley was a Goddess.  He too is trying to find out what is happening and ends up finding Marley and following her until they find that they both have a mutual desire to stop what is happening and team up together.

It did have a few tears, as Marley is both brave and puts too much of others mistakes on her own shoulders.  Certainly a book and series that I would recommend to Mythology and Paranormal lovers.

BLOG TOUR Review) - Last Second Chance (Second Chance #1) by Caisey Quinn

The Book
Release Date: 6 May 2014

When Stella Jo Chandler gets an offer to work at the Second Chance Ranch celebrity rehab facility right after graduating from Texas A&M, she’s tempted to turn it down. She wants to help real people with real problems, not spoiled celebrities going on vacation for publicity. But growing up on her family’s ranch left her with a love of horses that draws her to the opportunity. How bad can babysitting a bunch of strung out celebrities be?

What she didn’t count on was being roped into a tangled mess with infamous rocker and three-time rehab drop out Van Ransom on her first day. And she sure didn’t expect to feel the overwhelming attraction that pulls her to the man who has more issues than she can count on both hands. Like the hotel rooms and tour buses he’s famous for trashing, the havoc he could wreak on Stella’s heart would be irreparable.

Van isn’t at Second Chance for publicity or because he’s suffering from “exhaustion”. He’s on the brink of destruction, and he needs the kind of help Stella isn’t sure she can give. But without her, he'll lose everything. Because he’s on his last second chance.

***This book contains MA 17+ Content

My Opinion  5 STARS
** Copy provided by the author for an honest review**

Two wounded souls who came together and found what they needed in each other.

Stella Jo Chandler has never felt wanted or needed before and has always felt empty and devoid of feeling.  Van Ransom has never goo ten over his childhood and the death of his sister Val.

Instant attraction sparks between them and they find they give more to the other than they have ever done before.

She wants to be in his corner no matter what, and he wants to be a better person for her.

Loved the ending and can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Heavy Metal (Goddesses Rising #2) by Natalie J. Damschroder

The Book
Release Date: 27 august 2013

The world is not what Riley Kordek imagined. On the run from those who’ve targeted her, all Riley wants is a chance to figure out her new ability to bend metal's energy. When a hot guy who knows more than he should helps her escape her attackers, she thinks she might’ve found someone who can lead her to the answers she needs.

Three years ago, Sam Remington walked away from his employer and the woman he loved, and now, all he’s looking to do is fill the gaping hole left behind. Except, when Sam takes Riley to the Society for Goddess Education and Defense, the stakes rise beyond what either of them could have imagined.

After being alone for so long, falling for Sam would be far too easy—and far too painful, once his old flame calls needing his help. Worse, Riley uncovers a plot with disastrous ramifications not only for herself, but for Sam and the people he loves—and potentially every goddess in the country.

My Opinion  5 STARS
** Copy provided by Netgalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC for an honest review**

The second book in this series does not disappoint and we get to see so much more of that yummy Sam.

Riley Kordek is a fairly new Goddess and found Sam on society website, both notice each other on a basist level straight away, but trouble has followed Riley.  Both are struggling with their current lives and find both a purpose and a want of each other propelling them forward to help with another dire situation that has cropped up in the Goddess world.

With Quinn and Nick requesting Sams help, he brings Riley further into the Goddess world where she starts to finally be able to piece her life together.

The sexual tension between Sam and Riley is electric and fast when things finally happen and yet another obstacle is put in their path that has all parties fighting not only for their lives but for each other, with Riley really showing her strength of character.

I'm so happy that Sam and Riley get their HEA, and really looking forward to seeing how Marley is going to get her HEA.  She deserves it.

Under the Moon (Goddesses Rising #1) by Natalie J. Damschroder

The Book
Release Date: 6 December 2011

Their power gives them strength...and makes them targets.

Quinn Caldwell is the epitome of a modern goddess. Her power source is the moon, her abilities restricted only by physical resources and lunar phase. She runs a consulting business and her father's bar, serves on the board of the ancient Society for Goddess Education and Defense, and yearns for Nick Jarrett, professional goddess protector and the soul mate she can never have.

But someone has developed the rare and difficult ability to drain a goddess of her powers, and Quinn is a target. With the world thinking Nick has gone rogue (whatever that means) and that Quinn is influenced by "family ties" she didn't know she had, keeping themselves safe while working to find the enemy proves harder each day.

But not as hard as denying their hearts...

My Opinion  5 STARS
***May contain Spoilers***
This is a very steamy book (non erotic) that changes up what you think of Goddesses, as Gods not not exist.

Quinn is a Goddess who owns a bar and is only powerful around the full moon, otherwise she is as weak as a human.  All Goddesses use their powers to help humans from finding lost keys and healing wounds but the energy has to be replaced and its sex based.

Sam has an assistant Sam who for the last six years has been meeting her admin and re-charging needs, but for the last twelve weeks after realising that he wants more and not given in to her bodies needs.

Nick is her protector and has been since she came into her powers at age 21.  He is the man that she has always wanted and never been able to have.

When there are rumours of a leech it is Quinn and her two guys that investigate and family secrets come out of the woodwork.

There is not too much of a love triangle as you can see where things are going and the ending is both explosive and brilliant.  I am really looking forward to reading book two.

The Switched Baby Scandal (Scandals of San Sebastian #1) by Theresa Meyers

The Book
Release Date: 10 June 2013

His child. Her daughter. One monumental mix-up.

Single mom Taylor Lawrence just discovered that the hospital sent her home with the wrong infant five years ago. Now the headstrong and handsome biological father wants his child back. But Emily has always been her daughter, and Taylor won’t give her up without a fight.

Widower Reece Wallace believed his life was over when a drunk driver killed his wife and daughter. So when he learns of the baby switch, he sees this child as his ultimate salvation. But he never anticipated the fiery woman on the other side of this custody battle—or how she’d stir feelings in him long dormant.

As the media storm surrounding the hospital’s mistake intensifies, Taylor and Reece find there’s more to sort out than custody of Emily—they must work together to protect her while grappling with their growing attraction. Can they pick up the pieces of two broken families and meld them into something new?

My Opinion  5 STARS
** Copy provided by Netgalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC for an honest review**4

This book had me in tears, had me laughing and wanting to strangle the two main characters.

You can't help but feel the pain for Widower Reece as he struggles to get over the death of both his wife and child a year ago, only to find out the child that he had raised was not his biological child.

Taylor, the woman who has only just discovered the truth, that she has raised someone else's child and not her own, is in turmoil, wondering if she will get to keep the child that she has raised as her own.  She finds however that Widower Reece wants joint custody.

The tension between them is not the greatest, but you do really feel their emotions and their pain in regards to lost family and their daughter Emily.

Apart from the lack of decent tension between them I also feel that this book would have benefited in having an epilogue to really close up the story.

On the whole though this is a decent read.

Once Tasted (Silver Creek #2) by Laura Moore

The Book
Release Date: 27 May 2014

Three siblings, an extraordinary family, a lasting heritage—in the irresistible Silver Creek Ranch trilogy, they’ll fight for the land and the people they love.

Everything has come easily to Reid Knowles, the middle son of a California ranching family. But his charmed life is suddenly complicated when his good friend and neighbor asks him to help run the winery next door. His neighbor’s niece, Mia Bodell, is in charge—and she has made it clear that she’d rather be roped to a steer than to Reid Knowles. Never one to back down from a challenge, Reid vows to win her trust.

Her life marked by loss, Mia knows that nothing comes easily—love included. In high school, her heart was crushed by Reid, and even though years have passed, the hurt lingers. Mia is achingly aware that the teen heartthrob has matured into a devastatingly handsome playboy, and the budding winemaker refuses to let down her guard. But one taste of unbridled passion changes things. From Reid’s first intoxicating kiss to his unexpectedly tender seduction, Mia is swept into a passionate affair that could tear her heart to pieces . . . or give her everything she has ever wanted.

My Opinion  5 STARS
**Copy Provided by Netgalley and Random House Publishing Group for an honest review**

Hmmmm Reid did not disappoint.  I have been looking forward to reading Reid's story since I first read about him in the first novel.  The uber sexy cowboy proved that he had a sweet and sexy side along with hard work and spunk.

I loved Bruno, the big loveable dog really did seem like such a good match for Mia.

Mia, such a strong woman.  She really didn't see how strong of a woman she was, but with such knocked confidence by her sleazy cousin, i'm not surprised at how she acted like she did.

Both characters worked well together and I loved how well they both stepped up to the plate when needed, even if things were crashing around them at times and the author wrote their feelings wonderfully.

This really is an epic series and I really cannot wait until book three with Quinn's story comes out.  Hopefully we get to see more of Tess and Wade along with Mia and Reid.

The Navy SEAL's E-Mail Order Bride (The Heroes of Chance Creek #1) by Cora Seton

The Book
Release Date 18 May 2014

Mason Hall, Navy SEAL, knows all about difficult assignments, but his current mission is one for the record books. Not only must he find a wife—and get her pregnant—or forfeit the ranch his family has prized for generations, he must also convince his three brothers to marry, too—before the year is up. Who knew one city girl and three wayward brothers could put up such a fight?

My Opinion  5 STARS
**Copy Provided by Netgalley and Cora Seton for an honest review**

This books is a brilliant start to Cora's new series, but I did find it a little on the short side.  I would have loved to read more about their growing relationship, more of the pitfalls etc of throwing themselves at the start into their internet dating relationship.

Mason was a good strong character, but even though he had a little crash after leaving the armed forces, Regan was able, very quickly to pull him back out of his funk.

Regan falls very quickly for Mason, even though she has her own plans in the works and is unsure at first whether she can put them aside for him.

A tough situation when he finally gets home and takes her to the ranch has them finding their strengths and finding what they are willing to give up and share with each other.

I light-hearted but fairly short read.

The Naughty Girls Book Club by Sophie Hart

The Book
Release Date: 22 april 2013

A quaint suburb. A quiet little book club. A very naughty reading list.

When Estelle sets up a book group in order to increase custom to her struggling cafe, what follows is more mind-blowing than she could have ever imagined...

As the first book club meeting flounders, Estelle suggests a spot of erotica to spice things up.

Inspired by their naughty novels, this group of shy suburban readers shake off their inhibitions and soon discover that their own lives can be just as scandalous...

My Opinion  5 STARS
** Copy provided by Netgalley and HarperCollins UK for an honest review**

This book was better than I had expected.  The book follows the lives of Estelle, Sue, Rebecca, Gracie and Reggie.  All have joined a book group set up by Estelle at her coffee shop in order to make more revenue.

The group create a great friendship and we see their lives as they start off with a classic book but find themselves reading a mixture of erotic book instead to compare books like Lady Chatterley's Lover and other erotic books to see the difference in the decades.

All have relationship dramas and find that their reading experiences enrich their lives and find true friendships with each other.

Its a heartwarming story with very carefully handled sex scenes and has plenty of giggles throughout, the storyline foe me however was quite predictable, but it was still a good book.

Love Conquers by J.M. Cagle

The Book
Release Date: 18 May 2014

Sierra Manchester is a young and fierce member of the most highly esteemed family in the town of Hickory Plains, but both the town and her family bear fantastic secrets that are destined to change Hickory Plains and the Manchesters forever.

Sierra is a nineteen-year-old witch in a family of powerful wielders of witchcraft, and though many of her siblings and cousins are in control of similar powers, one particular member of her family, her nineteen-year-old cousin named Kaitlyn, was not born with the special gift of witchcraft. As the years have gone by, she has been forced to see Sierra’s power grow into the greatest among her family, and Kaitlyn’s jealousy has been growing along with it. In order to gain powers of her own and to exact a kind of vengeance on Sierra, Kaitlyn experiments with a book of spells to summon a demon, and her sinister plan is simple; she offers the soul of Sierra to Luthis, a Sedist who demands an exchange for his help. In return, Kaitlyn would be granted power that would overshadow Sierra’s own.

When the dark cult of the very demon that Kaitlyn summoned appears in the town and begins forcing local business people to join, a powerful man named Adam Witchman approaches the Manchesters and offers to help them combat the cult and rid the town of the demon’s influence. While Sierra finds him questionable at first, they are soon forced to work together in the face of unspeakable darkness. Witness the unraveling of this story as the Manchesters edge toward oblivion, travel exotic locales, and make allies and enemies in the most unexpected of places.

Sierra’s life as she knows it is already over. But her soul is up for grabs by all forces of life, death, love, and jealousy. Now the question truly is this: does love always conquer?

My Opinion  2 STARS
** Copy provided by the author for an honest review**

This is a DNF (did not finish) for me.

First, at no point did the description or the cover indicate that this is a historical.  I do struggle to read historicals.

I knew from the first page that I was going to struggle with this one, but gallantly pushed on to 50% as I like to make as much headway as I can before I totally give up on a book.

Second we get to many points of view from the characters and they change without warning (sometimes just for a sentence or two).  It would have been better if the author had stuck to only two characters.

The story itself was good and I couldn't fault the spelling or writing otherwise.

Suddenly Beautiful by Boone Brux

The Book
Release Date: 10 June 2013

Too bad that leaves her with only imagining him naked and thinking evil thoughts about the new girl. After a single bottle of Ambrosia and one night of passion... Nikki finally thinks she has a chance with the man of her dreams. But the next morning, Tor pretends like nothing happened, leaving Nikki with an emerging drive for combat—after all, turns out she is the daughter of Ares and she's about to make her mama proud.

All is fair in love and war... and Nikki's not about to let anyone forget it.

My Opinion  4 STARS

** Copy provided by Netgalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC for an honest review**

This is a very light-hearted yet fun read.

Apparently all you need is a demigod to have secret desires for you along with some Ambrosia and you get an almost instant relationship and a marriage proposal.

The ending is definitely and ending that would only happen in your fantasies, and it is definitely a short time from first kiss to marriage proposal, but its still a decent light read.

Stella and Dane: A Honky Tonk Romance by Deanna Roy

The Book
Release Date: 14 July 2012

Stella is one step from leaving her small town when bad-boy Dane roars down Main Street on his prized Harley-Davidson. Despite dreams of living in a big anonymous city, Stella hangs back to have one last crazy romance with this handsome stranger.

Their dangerous romance keeps the locals talking, especially some of the punks who don't appreciate Dane's attitude with Stella. An altercation in a bar turns deadly, and when Dane is arrested, the couple discovers their love runs deeper than their reputations.

A self-contained, HEA new adult romance, no cliffhangers

My Opinion  2.5 STARS
** Copy provided by Netgalley and Casey Shay Press for an honest review**
***May contain Spoilers***

First off you only find out in the Epilogue that this is a prequel to the book Baby Dust and that the Epilogue takes place after Baby Dust.  In my opinion the epilogue is just not needed in the book.

Also nothing lets you know before hand that this book is set in the 1980's, I would have preferred to be warned about this.

I did have trouble with the main characters.  First he had a girlfriend and Stella is intent on breaking them up, second they have sex in what seems like only five minutes later whilst he still has a girlfriend.

Second, when he goes to jail they have only been together two weeks and they not only say how they love each other, but she is willing to wait 12 years for him to come out of jail?!

Otherwise the book is well written and some of the characters were nice like old Joe and Beatrice.

This really is a book to read after Baby dust otherwise the epilogue is confusing, but you only get a warning and told this happen before Baby dust just before you read the Epilogue which just makes no sense what-so-ever.

I loved that it this book the roles had reversed, that it was the woman who is the bodyguard and had most of the commitment issues.

Zach was type cast as the asshole playboy but other than a few references to his past, he didn't really act that way. Not with Dani anyway.

Another light-hearted read in which the pages turn very quickly.

Nate is a highly intelligent man however his long work hours and looks have not helped in finding him a long term relationship or wife.

Kennedy steps up to help him, however being a closet nerd herself and more time spent with him attraction and lust is rife.  Especially as Nate has an honest, blunt and take charge nature with slight OCD tendencies, which at times can be a blessing (in a multiple of ways ;))

Its another great instalment in the series and we get to meet old friends again from The Marriage Merger series.  I greatly anticipate the books for Arilyn and Gen.  I have my fingers crossed for Gen and Wolfe.

This is a must read series!!

Losing Control (Babysitting a Billionaire #1) by Nina Croft

The Book
Release Date: 12August 2013

A sexy category romance from Entangled's Brazen imprint...

He's the only man she didn't see coming...

Four years after escaping her abusive ex-husband, Kim finally believes she’s in control of her life and her emotions and she's determined to never risk either again with a man. She has a great home, a job as a security specialist which she loves, and Jake for a best friend. But things are a tad lonely in the sex department, so she decides to embark on a no-strings-affair with one of her hot co-workers. And who better to help her remember how to lure a man than her best friend?

Jake has wanted Kim from the moment he first saw her, but four years ago, she was too young and too damaged. So he kept her close and he kept her safe, offering her a job in his security company and the training to feel safe again, and he bided his time. But now, after the long wait, if she imagines he’s going to stand by while she seduces some other guy...

Never going to happen.

My Opinion  4 STARS
This is the first book from the Brazen series that I have read that is set in the Uk (London).

Two people who have become really good friends since Kim's divorce become even closer when Jake finally finds that he wants Kim as more.  Kim however has is completely clueless until she tells him that she wants to use the new guy to scratch her sudden sex itch.

Jake who has that alpha possessive streak lets her know that in no uncertain terms that if thats what she wants she will have to come to him, and even gives her a sample of said terms on his office desk.

Kim has her issues and Jake is there for her the entire way.  Both are strong characters and the chemistry is explosive with them.  I like a number of the other characters in the book and I believe that they too could have great stories to tell.

I fun light read that goes before you know it.

Royally Lost by Angie Stanton

The Book
Release Date: 6 May 2014

Dragged on a family trip to Europe’s ancient cities, Becca wants nothing more than to go home. Trapped with her emotionally distant father, over-eager stepmother, and a brother who only wants to hook up with European hotties, Becca is miserable. That is until she meets Nikolai, a guy as mysterious as he is handsome. And she unknowingly finds herself with a runaway prince.

Nikolai has everything a guy could ask for-he's crown prince, heir to the throne, and girls adore him. But the one thing he doesn't have...is freedom. Staging a coup, he flees his kingdom and goes undercover on his own European tour.

When Nikolai and Becca meet, it’s their differences that draw them together. Sparks fly as they share a whirlwind of adventures, all the while dodging his royal guard. But Becca's family vacation ends in a matter of days. Will Nikolai and Becca be forced to say goodbye forever, will his destiny catch up to him, or will they change history forever?

My Opinion  3.5 STARS
Royally lost is based on teenagers at age 18 realising that life is not fair, each feeling stuck and claustrophobic at what is expected of them in the coming years by their respective families.

It's definitely more of a book for the younger readers as you can see at times the that their immaturity comes out, but other than that it is a light-hearted read and quite sweet.

Younger readers will probably see that insta love can and does happen easier at their age, leaving a credibility to 'young love'.

Of course, with Nikolai trying to avoid detection they set out together to see the sights along the route that her boat is on, before hot footing it to Prague with him when her brother goes to Amsterdam with new friends.

As in most books we do get a HEA, when the parents take an unexpected reverse look at the situation and realise how much Nikolai and Becca have changed.

His to Keep (Out of Uniform #1.5) by Katee Robert

The Book
Release Date: 28 April 2014

A sexy category romance from Entangled's Brazen imprint...

He’s always wanted her. Now’s his chance to claim what’s his.

School teacher Marceline Bellini gave up everything—men, sex, anything resembling a social life—to raise her young daughter. To be the perfect parent. But when she attends an engagement party in her standard stick-in-the-mud mode, her friends begin plying Marcy with shots. Just enough to convince her that a little fun doesn't sound like a bad idea... and having some naughty fun is an even better one.

Like finding herself deliciously pressed against a dark alley wall by the very familiar and very hot body of her best friend's older brother.

After years of waiting in painful silence, police officer Aaron Robinson finally has Marcy’s attention. And man, does he have it. But nothing could have prepared either of them for the rush of fiery lust between them. So he’ll just have to convince Marcy he’s for real. And that a rainy, lust-fuelled romp is the first step to a lifetime of completely imperfect happiness…

My Opinion  4 STARS
** Copy provided by Netgalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC for an honest review**

Aaron has wanted his sisters best friend since she was seventeen, but circumstances have always kept them apart.

Now that she is finally on a night out he makes his move, telling her there we be no other man but him. Trouble is she has had a crush on him since she was sixteen.

An explosive novella that takes place shortly after book one ends, and heres hoping the next story is of Drew and Avery.

In Bed with Mr. Wrong (Out of Uniform #1) by Katee Robert

The Book
Release Date: 13 January 2014

A sexy category romance from Entangled's Brazen imprint...

The blind date from hell is about to get hotter…

Brianne Nave is never doing her friends a favor again. When they begged her to go on a blind date, she didn’t expect someone so perfectly gorgeous. She’s a mousy librarian—totally not in this man’s league. And judging by his odd reaction when she opens the door, he knows it, too.

Air Force Pararescuer Ryan Flannery avoids his hometown at all costs. He’s not thrilled about the date until he’s shocked silent by the prickly little librarian’s sweet curves and kissable lips…and her smart mouth. But then an argument leads to a kiss that spirals out of control. How can two people have so little chemistry outside the bedroom when they fit together so perfectly in it?

When their friends strand them in a cabin to "work things out," Bri’s not sure whether to kill him or put the industrial-sized box of condoms they find to use. Bottom line—Ryan’s career military and hates the tiny town she loves. He’ll leave, just like everyone else in her life. And if she’s foolish enough to give him her heart, he’ll take it with him.

My Opinion  4 STARS
Another Katee Robert classic that just cannot be put down.

I found the dialogue between Bri and Ryan to be down-right funny at times, and at others I wanted to strangle them both for being so bloody stupid.

Both are stubborn and rib each other the wrong way at first, then the chemistry kicks in and it has one hell of a punch.

Drew and Avery really need to have someone get their own back on the meddling pair, but it was a worthy cause.

I am totally looking forward to the rest of the series, I just wish the ending hadn't felt quite so rushed.
