My Opinion 5 STARS
**My thanks to NetGalley and Montlake Romance, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is another brilliant book in the series and i have been waiting for Gabe's story right from the beginning.

There is humour, angst, pain and happy endings along with a family that are finding that they are stronger than they think, both individually and as a unit.

The family again show how they support one another in a time of need which is heart warming and we see more of previous characters that we are learning more of.

I can't wait for the next story which i am guessing will be Cord's as we saw a lot more from him in this book.

**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is the ending to the series and there are so many twists and turns that you never know what is going to happen next.

I love that Mia stays strong through out and keeps going no matter how things seem to be against her and that she and Taddy are strong characters.

Mimi has a writing genius that is all her own which just sucks you into the story, i had to keep turning the pages until the book was finished.

I'm glad that they got their HEA even if it was no where near that i had imagined.

A must read series.

REVIEW - Uncensored (The Manhattanites #7) by Avery Aster

The Book
Release Date: 12 January 2017

Fans of J. Kenner, Meredith Wild, Kirstin Ashley, and Christina Lauren will enjoy this hilarious and naughty, full-length, stand-alone, cliffhanger free, m/f contemporary erotic romance novel from New York Times Bestselling Author Avery Aster.

Sobriety is in vogue this season when Debauchery magazine founder Vive Farnworth trades in her Park Avenue mansion for a halfway house. Enjoying “therapy” on a tomato farm she relearns how to live. Her focus on fruit soon ripens when a new roommate moves in. He’s dominant and challenging, and she swears his orgasm-enducing body looks familiar. Then again, her memory is one gin martini blur.

Stripped of his Olympic gold medal, Roddick “The Grunt” Beckstrong was the #1 professional tennis player in the world until a certain news outlet exposed him for doping to enhance his performance. After losing custody of his son to his ex-wife, along with sixty-five million dollars, he’s out for revenge against the owner of the tabloid that ruined his life—Debauchery.

To destroy his nemesis…he’ll entice her mind, seduce her soul and satiate her body’s lust. Then he’ll publicly humiliate her! Falling in all-consuming love along the way wasn’t part of his plan, but it happens. When Vive learns of Roddick’s motives, she ups the ante with the one thing he hadn’t obliterated, her heart. It’s a vengeance that he never saw coming. Whoever stays sober the longest may win something their fame and fortunes never gave them before—a chance at happiness.

My Opinion  3 STARS
**My thanks to NetGalley and Avery Aster for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is a sexy as hell novella that finds Vive Farnsworth coming out of rehab and into a half way house where she finds her happily ever after.

I managed to read this novella in an hour, but i am a fast reader.

As a bonus story, you also get the first Manhattanites book Unscrupulous as a free read, which is great unless you have already been following the series and have already read it.

I was a little disappointed that this was such a short length novella, and felt that Vive was getting a little screwed over in the book department, especially as Lex and Taddy both got full length books.

On the whole though it is brilliantly written in the authors dirty, fast and witty way.  Just a little too short for me.

Familiar with Sister Wives Kiki wonders if it's time to try her hand at Brother-Husbands!

Note: the men DO NOT touch one another.

My Opinion  4 STARS
**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is a very fast paced book that may have some language that may be offensive to some, but  then if you are this far into the series then you already know this.

Kiki is a good girl, honest and at times very innocent, but having the manhattanites as her friends has opened her eyes to so many things.

Two years have happened since Dejon and Kiki first met and now so close to their wedding things take a twist that neither of them expected.

Love the fact that Kiki takes her mormon upbringing and turns it around to her advantage in order that she can have two husbands instead of being just another wife to one man.

My Opinion  3 STARS

**My thanks to NetGalley and Tule Publishing, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

Although the plot on this book is good, it felt a little rushed, especially at the end which was a little disappointing, however the story was still good.

Both characters met before in the past when the Princess ends up in trouble with her past lover as her protector.  Of course the past comes rushing back as does the emotions and feelings.

It’s the opportunity of a lifetime for this small-town American girl, but there’s only one problem. Her new employer, HRH Prince Ronan, aka her mystery summer lover of long ago, seems determined to pick up where they left off. Can Brenna work in the royal palace and not end up with a brand new broken heart?

My Opinion  4 STARS
**My thanks to NetGalley and Tule Publishing, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is an author that i have not read before and was pleasantly surprised.

The only thing that really pulled this book down for me is that it did not have an epilogue to finish a little while later as i really wanted to know a little more about them.

Brenna is a hard working woman who has loved and lost in the fact that the man ran off, and she has made one bad decision which comes back to pinch her in the butt.

Ronan is the rogue Prince, however he is there and supportive when he needs to.  Ronan has also never forgotten about the girl that he spent three months with and thinks that he will never end up married.

I loved all of the characters and hope that Willow and Emory get a book either together or eaters they too need their stories told.

My Opinion  4 STARS

**My thanks to NetGalley and Tule Publishing, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is a quick short read, especially if you read fast like me.

You are provided with a prologue from when the characters are teenagers and best friends fighting sexual desire, then you are transported to modern day followed by an epilogue to tie up the ending.

Dee is a character that lets you know exactly how she is feeling and only as an adult has been able to exert caution over her words.  She also trusts Jed enough that she instantly travels half way across the world just to support him in meeting the man that says that he is Jed's dad.

Jed has travelled all over the place, but finally managed to settle down eight years ago, much to the annoyance of his mother.  But unbeknownst to him, his mother has been keeping a very big secret from him.

I really enjoyed this book, but wish it had been a little longer.

REVIEW - The Cinderella Princess (Royal Holiday #1) by Melissa McClone

Thanks to a philandering father, ad exec Emily Rodgers knows happily ever after doesn’t exist. Relying on a man only leads to heartache. She takes care of herself, and work defines her life. Luc’s fun-loving ways have made him a magnet for scandal. His father gives Luc an ultimatum—find a wife on a reality TV show or be disowned. Rules require him to marry nobility, but after he meets the uptight American sent to find him find a princess bride, his search for Cinderella might be over. Too bad Emily wants nothing to do with him. Perhaps he can show her that fairytale endings can happen in real life…

My Opinion 4 STARS

**My thanks to NetGalley and Tule Publishing, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is quite a sweet book that is very clean with just some sexual innuendo and a little kissing.

Emily works hard to get where she wants and currently she wants to be named as a partner.  But that title has so far eluded her no matter how hard she tries.

Prince Luc is the youngest son who has also been named as the trouble maker and scapegoat.  He is resigned to his reputation, but must marry or lose the money he needs for his foundation.

Both have had hardship in their lives and find themselves inexplicitly drawn to each other right from the beginning.

Its a heartwarming cinderella story re-woven with the required HEA.

REVIEW - In Bed With the Billionaire (Nine Circles #5) by Jackie Ashenden

Her reaction to his touch is explosively sexual—and their emotional connection is too powerful for her to ignore. Is she his shot at redemption? Or will he have to risk losing her love to save her life?

My Opinion 5 STARS
**My thanks to NetGalley and St Martin's Press, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is the last book in the series and cannot really be read as a stand alone book as it closes all the loose ends up.

Jackie has you riveted to the pages as you see why and how Theo Fitzgerald became Jericho and how all the characters get the end result that they have worked toward.

At times i felt sorry for both Temple and Theo as both have been through a lot to get to the ending that they have been working towards for most of their adult lives.

The book did not have too many twists and turns and i was sorry that this was the end of the series.

REVIEW - Loving the Babysitter by Cassandra Dee

The Book
Release Date: 4 January 2017
Goodreads Link

She was good with kids, and the alpha male wanted more babies …

I’ve known Mandy Smith for years now, ever since she started coming over to babysit my daughter. Back then, Mandy was a gangly teen with buckteeth and braces, someone I barely noticed. But something’s changed since she was away at college.

The braces came off.

The brunette got contacts.

And holy hell, but the girl developed curves …

Because I’ve been divorced for years now, and my gorgeous babysitter would be the perfect mommy for more children – our children!

Note: This is a sexy, smutty romance that will make your cheeks burn and your panties melt! Guaranteed HEA. This book contains the bonus novella Double Massive for a limited time.

My Opinion  3.5 STARS
This would be classed a a taboo book where eighteen year old Mandy Smith has gone to babysit little Violet, only for find that nearly forty year old Pete Parker has divorced from his wife and both find that there is an instant attraction to the other that was not mutually there before.

The story moves along quickly and you find that Mandy actually seems very mature for her age, and Pete being a red blooded male finds that the attraction is just far too strong to ignore.

It's a fast read and the HEA had me smiling at the two and how they are still very much compatible all those years later.

REVIEW - Stripped Bare (Vegas Billionaire #1) by Heidi McLaughlin

The Book
Release Date: 28 March 2017
Goodreads Link

They don’t call it the Strip for nothing. . . .

In this sinfully sexy Las Vegas romance from bestselling author Heidi McLaughlin, a man who has it all reunites with a woman who takes it all off.

Living in Sin City, Finn McCormick is no stranger to one-night stands, but the last person he expects to find losing big on the casino floor is a former high school fling. Even though Macey Webster’s clearly down on her luck, she’s still a knockout, and she’s dressed like a stripper—because she is one. Drunk off an unfamiliar cocktail of lust, pity, and compassion, Finn offers to pay Macey’s debts if she cuddles up to him around town . . . and does whatever he wants between the sheets.

Macey came to Vegas for one reason only: money. She’s got a young daughter to support, and the tips really are bigger in Vegas. But when she blows her earnings on blackjack, her guardian angel is the rich boy who once stole her heart and never called her back. Although Macey would love to turn the tables on Finn, she can’t afford to refuse his proposition—and soon she’s enjoying herself much more than she cares to admit. Macey’s used to baring her flesh, but baring her soul will take far more courage.

My Opinion  5 STARS
**My thanks to NetGalley and Random House, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is your modern day pretty woman/cinderella story should one have them had a one night stand and had a child to look after from the age of eighteen.

Macey is a very hard working woman, down on her luck and resorting to working in a strip club to earn extra cash at night.

Finding herself in need of more cash she takes a colleagues advice and goes to work in Vegas for a week to earn the big bucks to help her get out of her mothers house.

Finn may be a multi millionaire, but with the right people he has a heart of gold, but can be ruthless when he needs to be.  As most alpha males he is on the cocky side and always get what he wants.

The story pulls at your heart strings at times and really cannot help but want Macey to get the HEA that she deserves as she proves how far she will go to protect her daughter and give her a better life.  That Macey is a a strong woman with courage and determination.

I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from this author.

After breaking it off six years ago Edward is now ready to show Ivy what he really wants in the bedroom after having watched her from afar.

He wants just one night to show her how compatible he thinks they now would be together , now that her horizons have broadened.

This is a fast paced, dirty, fun read that sneaks a peak into the softer area of BDSM and has been artfully put together.

I read it in one sitting after not being able to put the book down.

REVIEW - Take Me Harder (Texas Bounty #3) by Jackie Ashenden

The Book
Release Date: 7 February 2017
Goodreads Link

An ex-con with a bad-boy reputation falls for his childhood sweetheart—a good-girl cop chasing a ruthless killer—as the Texas Bounty series gets steamier than the Lone Star State.

Rush Redmond never expected freedom to taste so bittersweet. He spent eight years in jail doing someone else’s time, and for what? As an ex-con, Rush can’t work as a bounty hunter like his brothers—not in Texas. Better to drown his sorrows with a stiff drink and soft curves. Too bad the temptation he craves is a redhead with a badge: Ava St. George. Once upon a time, Rush would’ve done anything for the sheriff’s innocent daughter. Now he’s fighting the urge to let her sweet-talk him into some trouble he can’t afford.

Even though she’s a cop, Ava knows that sometimes justice means pushing the boundaries of the law. To track down her mother’s killer, she turns to the man with the county’s criminal underworld in his little black book. The boy she knew is still drop-dead gorgeous, with panty-dropping charm as smooth as his smile. But his sculpted arms and the menacing gleam in his eyes scream “Don’t mess with me.” Yet Ava needs Rush more than ever—in more ways than one.

Don’t miss any of Jackie Ashenden’s seductive Texas Bounty novels:
TAKE ME DEEPER | MAKE IT HURT | TAKE ME HARDER

My Opinion 5 STARS
**My thanks to NetGalley and Random House, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is the third book in the series, but could be read as a stand alone if desired.

This books focuses on Redmond brother Rush and cop Ava, both of whom we have seen in previous books.

I kinda had to feel sorry for Rush, sent to prison for a crime he did not commit, a father that seemed to hate him and to top it all his mothers death bed confession.  Its no wonder that he uses his sarcastic humour and distances those that he calls family.

Ava is a good girl, however she see's a deeper side of Rush that no one else seems to be seeing.  She can put side comments that she knows are only to help Rush cope and helps him like no one else has bother to so far.

She helps him out from the dark with her light persona, her strength and determination.

Its a friends to lovers book, with an eight year gap in-between and the same goal in mind.
