The Book
Release Date: 7 July 2012
Cruise director Michaela Western has everything she wants--everything except a sex life. But there are no secrets on cruise ships. She risked her job once for a dalliance with the Captain, and won't do it again for a few minutes of toe-curling pleasure. Until a devilishly handsome new staffer with a body made for sin tempts her to walk on the wild side...
Investment billionaire Dylan Johns always gets what he wants. He is used to giving orders--not taking them--until he's forced to go on hiatus from his investment company. To bide his time and carry out an old dream, he takes a job on a cruise ship--and ends up taking orders from his gorgeous, but uptight, new boss. He is determined to loosen her up with a fun onboard romance, but their no-strings fling turns serious and Dylan is forced to confess his lies.
When the affair threatens to shatter Michaela's own career dreams, she finds herself caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.
My Opinion 3 STARS
This book had the potential to be so much better than it was, I mean the write up sounded so good and I felt a little let down with what I got.
Yes Michaela was a strong character, she has her best friend Felicity (who stars in the next book) and she is in a position on a ship that is male dominated. I still think it would have been harder to be onboard a cruise liner and not had just the one little slip with the Captain, and not more with other staff or guests.
A billionaire being a closet dancer? The really didn't really seem plausible and his background in dance (or lack thereof) i'm sure would have been more of an issue with employment, faking it well or not. It just never sat right with me.
The sister-in-law section of the book really wasn't needed and her tears near the end of the book really annoyed me. That little part really felt like extra padding.
The ending on the whole really was disappointing and felt completely rushed. Dylan had a complete 180 turn in his thoughts and feelings and it all happened far to fast. Michaela, yes her part felt right, but Dylan felt all wrong.

Rescued (Wrecked #2) by Priscilla West
The Book
Release Date: 24 February 2014
“There would be no happy ending for us. He was too damaged. I was too broken.”
The conclusion to USA Today bestselling author Priscilla West’s New Adult Novel Wrecked.
Wrecked should be read before this book.
Lorrie’s semester started off hopeful but ended in disaster. Now, she’s even more lost and confused than she was at the beginning of the year. As Lorrie flees to the only family she has left, she has to come to terms with how things ended with Hunter.
Hunter has fought for so long to keep the truth from Lorrie in an effort to protect her, but that has only caused more heartache and pain.
Realizing his mistake, Hunter has made a vow to get Lorrie back, but is it too late?
Will Hunter be able to overcome his own demons and help Lorrie through her pain, or are they destined to keep hurting each other?
My Opinion 2.5 STARS
This book was completely different from the first book, but not in a good way. To be honest I found it a little boring as it mostly just focused on Hunters MS and Lorrie being unable to concentrate because she was anxious about Marco.
In fact, that was all the book really focused on, with Hunter living with Lorrie and her Aunt and Uncles family when he come to find her, bring the kittens in tow.
Yes, they both helped the other person be stronger to cope with their own battles, but Lorrie still acted a little immature.
I don't know why, but book this book and the previous seemed to read in the past tense. We were reading events that were happening at the time, but the language used read as in the past. VERY annoying.
I'm kinda sad to admit that I am glad that both this book and the series has finished.

Wrecked (Wrecked #1) by Priscilla West
The Book
Release Date: 16 December 2013
“There would be no happy ending for us. He was too damaged. I was too broken.”
Two years ago, Lorrie’s mother was murdered. But that wasn’t the end of it. Reeling from the tragedy, Lorrie’s father spiraled into alcohol, depression, and finally suicide.
The two most important people in Lorrie’s life are both gone but she’s still alive.
Trying to recover from the tragedy, Lorrie returns to campus, ready to pick up the pieces of her life. All Lorrie wants is to get back to “normal.”
Then she meets Hunter. The man, the legend, “the Hammer.”
Hunter is a cage fighter who takes on every fight like he’s got nothing to lose. His life is a tangled mess of girls, booze, and fist fights. And while it may seem like he’s got a devil-may-care attitude, he’s fighting a private cage-match with a monster he can’t defeat.
Lorrie knows that Hunter is the exact type of guy she should stay away from, especially in her fragile state, but Hunter has other ideas.
As Hunter and Lorrie grow closer together, will they be able to overcome their pain and heal each other? Or will they both end up wrecked?
My Opinion 3 STARS
**Copy Provided by NetGalley and Blackbird Publishing for an honest review**
Bits of this book are good, the other bits are annoying.
Take our main character for example. Lorrie claimed that she didn't want a relationship with anyone, but she VERY quickly, when she wasn't playing push-you-pull-you with Hunter fell into a relationship with him. Yes, she was honest in what she wanted with thinking with her head, but with Hunter around and her body responding she soon became confused.
Hunter had anger issues and it was annoying never to know why until near the end when we get a chapter from his point of view. He does make a stupid decision, but with everything having happened in such a short space of time between them, do we really expect them to have told the other everything about themselves?
Even though I'm glad I had a chance to read this I am annoyed with the cliff hangar,. I know authors use this to keep you on tender hooks until the next book, but when you have to wait months for the next book, by then you have forgotten what has happened.

Against the Ropes (Redemption, #1) by Sarah Castille
The Book
Release Date:
He scared me. He thrilled me. And after one touch, all I could think about was getting more...
Makayla never thought she'd set foot in an elite mixed martial arts club. But if anyone needs a medic on hand, it's these guys. Then again, at her first sight of the club's owner, she's the one feeling breathless.
The man they call Torment is all sleek muscle and restrained power. Whether it's in the ring or in the bedroom, he knows exactly when a soft touch is required and when to launch a full-on assault. He always knows just how far he can push. And he's about to tempt Makayla in ways she never imagined...
My Opinion 3 STARS
This is a hit and miss kind of book.
First, you have to get over the fact that the author leans heavily on the full stop for punctuation with little else. This therefore meant that it took a little longer for me to get into it.
Makayla seemed ok as a character, but she seemed to have everything thrown at her. A nasty boss, another boss that fancied her, poor because of her student debts, no parents… oh and a dislike of violence and blood, but yet she works at the hospital and has her EMT certificate. Oh, don't forget her man has to come save her too….
Torment (aka Max Huntingdon) is another character that seems to have everything thrown at him. He's an MMA type fighter n the underground circuit, has BDSM and dominant tendencies, dead parents, money, a mile wide possessive streak, temperament issues etc….
I mean some of this would be ok, but all thrown into one book makes it feel cheap and overdone. Even Makayla's best friend seems more like Samantha in Sex in the City, sleeping around and talking far too explicitly about what she's doing or about to do.
There is a decent story buried in there somehow, but everything takes away from it leaving you feeling kinda sorry you picked up the book.
One saving grace for me was the texting between Max and Makayla, however it was still a little FSOF like in that regard (where they have emails instead).
Although I read this book pretty much in one sitting, it was mainly to get the book over with. I'll read the second book in the series, simply to know what happens with Amanda (the BFF), however its not a book I will be recommending to anyone.

“There were days that I would have exchanged a year of my life just to touch you one more time.” –Mark Williams
EXCERPT:
I knock on Mer’s apartment door and shift back and forth on my feet. I haven’t been this nervous since the very first time I picked her up for a date early in our Junior year.
I’ve come a long way since then.
Suddenly the door is wrenched open and Jax is standing there with a wide smile.
“Hey,” he says.
“Hi. I’m here to pick up Meredith.”
“Mr. Delicious is here for your date, tootsie roll!” Jax yells.
“I’m right here, dork,” Meredith says as she slips under his arm out into the hallway. “Ignore him. He has horrible manners.”
“Have fun,” Jax continues, leaning on the doorjamb with his arms crossed and watching us walk to the elevator. I brace my hand on the small of her back and feel the electricity travel up my arm and down to my groin. After all this time, the chemistry is still here. “You have her home at a decent time, now. I’ll leave the light on.”
“Shut up, Jax,” Mer says with a laugh.
“Use condoms!” He calls just as the elevator arrives.
“Oh my God! Shut the hell up, Jax!”
He laughs as the doors close and I can only smile in delight down at her. Her cheeks are pink with embarrassment. Her hair is pulled up in one of her signature messy buns and she’s in jeans and a blue sweater the same color as her eyes.
Jesus, she’s fucking gorgeous.
“You look amazing,” I say and rub a large circle over her slender back.
“So do you,” she murmurs and looks up and down at my plain black T-shirt and jeans. I threw a plaid button down over the T, but her eyes travel to my arms anyway.
She always did have a thing for my arms.
“Thanks for coming out with me tonight.”
“Thanks for inviting me,” she replies with a grin.
“Where are we going?”
“You’ll see.”
And don’t forget the rest of the With Me in Seattle Series…

Hidden Treasure (Billionaire Bachelors #9) by Melody Anne
The Book
Release Date: 19 May 2014
The second book in the Lost Anderson series is here, and it comes to you with a kicking and screaming heiress.
Brielle Storm inherits a dilapidated ranch in the wilds of Montana and she isn’t happy about her situation in the least. She may be moving to her new home, and she may be planning on doing whatever it takes to make her billionaire father happy, but she certainly won’t be doing it with a smile on her face.
No. Brielle plans on coming to Montana, hiring some ranch hand to do all the work, and then getting out of there before the first winter snow has a chance to hit.
Montana isn’t a state that offers predictable weather and Brielle is going to find out that the land isn’t the only thing she has to fear.
When her hotter than any city boy ever dreams of being, cowboy neighbor shows up on her doorstep, Brielle decides that maybe Montana isn’t so bad after-all.
That is until he laughs openly at her city girl ways. Then, she has something to prove…
My Opinion 5 STARS
Melody Anne has created yet another stunning book. In fact this series seems to be going from strength to strength and I can never seem to eat the pages up fast enough, but when you entwine Billionaires with Cowboys, my little 'ol heart goes racing. It certainly went racing for Colt.
Brielle even from the start was not the person that she portrayed. She was a lost woman that nobody seemed to realise needed help in finding herself, even Brielle.
When eventually Brielle is forced to take on the same challenge as her brothers, she finds out more about herself, especially when Colt enters the scene and takes her in hand, body, mind and soul.
Although we get snippets about how loaded Colt is, its only near the end we get an idea when Brielle steps foot on his ranch. He makes the Storms ranch look very poor, but he has a heart that keeps getting bigger, especially as he realised how much he needs and wants Brielle.
I really can't wait to read the stories for the other three brothers and want to see all of them meet up at the very end with all the happy endings.

His stubborn children think he’s gone insane, but they don’t know the powerful secret that can knock them to their knees and tear their family apart. Will they come together as they should, or will self-centeredness consume their hearts, ripping their family apart forever?
Crew Storm opens an exclusive resort in the Catalina Islands off the coast of California, and pride swells within him as he accomplishes the impossible. Reunite with the Andersons as they discover new relatives and meet this new branch in the Anderson line. Will love truly conquer all, or will stubbornness make them lose everything they never knew they had.
My Opinion 5 STARS
Another brilliant book that starts a series that stems of the Anderssons.
This series starts us off with George and Joseph finding out that they were actually triplets and that one child was taken from the family at birth. Therefore we have another five children that need to be matched up and Richard Storm, the lost brother has already started the path that his brothers have taken.
We also find out that Richard is also seriously ill, although he appears not to have told anyone in his family and is carrying on as normal.
Crew is very much another successful 'Andersson' thanks to his fathers meddlesome ways has taken up a business which is now flourishing.
Our love interest is Haley, a woman who is finally coming out of her shell after being repressed by her grandparents. She asks Crew to help her to be able to seduce a man, but both end up ensnared with each other.
Crew brings out the best in Haley and opens her eyes to her own sexuality, and Haley makes Crew want to be a better man.

The Maverick's Red Hot Reunion by Christine Glover
The Book
Release Date: 20 June 2014
***Cover May Not Be Final***
Can he satisfy his craving without losing his heart? Corporate Maverick Zach Tanner returns to North Carolina to rebuild his dying friend's resort. He's got the money, the power, and the will to transform Sweetbriar Springs into a premier spa for the glamorous, but he doesn't count on the woman he once loved...and lost...to handle the construction contract. Zach thought he'd buried his desire for Kennedy five years ago. He was wrong, and now he’s determined to satisfy his craving... Construction company owner Kennedy Gibson is eager to restore Sweetbriar Springs, but when she realizes Zach is her new boss she's terrified he'll learn the truth about their breakup so long ago. She vowed never to hurt him again, but she can't deny the passion he reignites in her. She wants to believe she has a chance for a different future with him, but will her secret threaten to destroy their red-hot reunion?
My Opinion 3 STARS
** Copy provided by Netgalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC for an honest review**
Kennedy was a feisty character and was not one of those really girly girls. She basically grew up on construction sites following her father around. She is now in charge of the company and more used to the ways of men and works very hard.
Zach lost all his anger far too quickly for me in the beginning and for some reason, I really could not warm to him until the end.
The plot is very predictable and I liked Michael and Caleb as supporting characters.

Release Date: 17 June 2014
Bad Kitty. Hot Kitty. Hell's Kitty is on a mission for the devil, but he's never too busy for seduction.
Good thing this Hellcat has nine lives because he’s going to need them if he’s going to survive Lucifer’s latest scheme and land on his four furry feet.
Okay, so Felipe ate a few of the Styx sea creatures. In his defense, they were awfully tasty. Depleting the monster reservoir didn’t mean Lucifer had to go all Lord of Hell on him and order him to go on a stupid mission. And to Siren Isle of all places! Everyone knows males should stay far, far away from that dangerous place. The only stroke of luck is the woman he’s after isn’t a siren. Nor is she quite a mermaid. As a matter of fact, Jenny isn’t like anyone he’s ever met—so, of course, this curious cat wants her.
Except he’s not the only one.
Not long after his arrival, he runs into problems, which he’s only too happy to solve in a permanent and violent fashion. Getting Jenny off the island and back to Hell’s inner circle is proving more troublesome than expected, though. Who knew a simple retrieval mission would signal the start of a dangerous—yet exhilarating—adventure, and despite his tomcat ways, this purring feline can’t help but fall in love.
OMG, Lucifer is cracking me up in these books, especially when he dons a rain coat like a cap with little horned rubber duckies on it. A brilliant piece of comedy for the naughty matchmaker.
As this series progresses we get to see more of Lucifers matchmaking, his sense of humour and the events that seem to be leading up to something BIG. There are even more twists and turns in the books than before and we get another whos-your -daddy moment along with what am I and sizzling attraction that cannot be ignored.
Felipe is a hell cat that is very confident of himself and his way with the ladies, however when sent to get a girl from the Siren Isle (Jenny) we find out that not only is he immune to the sirens charms, he is also immune to Jennys voice and song, which literally kills.
The banter again in this book is brilliant and will have you laughing out loud. I did get a few strange looks from my husband when I was reading this :)
Bring on the next book in the series!!!

More Than Music (Chasing the Dream #1) by Elizabeth Briggs
The Book
Release Date: 17 June 2014
Music major Maddie Taylor seems to have her life all figured out. She's just finished her junior year of college, has a summer internship lined up with the LA Philharmonic, and plans to go to grad school to write movie scores. Only her roommates know she practices guitar every night and secretly dreams of a louder life. But geeky girls like her don't get to be rock stars.
Tattooed singer Jared Cross has a new girl every week, but when he catches Maddie playing one of his songs, she attracts his attention in an unexpected way. His band needs a fourth member for The Sound, a reality TV show competition--and he wants her. Though Maddie refuses to be another notch on Jared's bedpost, she agrees to risk everything for the chance to be a rock star.
Once on the show, Maddie discovers there's more to Jared behind his flirty smile, and with each performance their attraction becomes impossible to ignore. When the show pressures Jared to flaunt his player image, they're forced to keep their relationship secret, but Maddie can't help but want something real.
As the competition heats up, Jared will do whatever it takes for his band to win, and Maddie must decide if following her dream is worth losing her heart.
*** New Adult romance suitable for 17+ due to mature content. ***

I LOVED this book. It was a really fun read and made you really wonder what its like being in a reality show and how things can go either against you and how tough you need to be sometimes.
I loved that all of the band characters were geeks to an extent, even as they were cool in other ways, especially that Maddie could play so many different instruments.
The push and pull of Maddie and Jared was also done well and I couldn't help but smile at the at the end of the book.
I would definitely say that it is one of my favourite New Adult books at the moment!!

Bad Cop (Immortalis #2) by Angela McCallister
The Book
Release Date: 28 October 2013
A woman jaded against dirty cops...To Alice, Ian is just another bad cop as detestable as the one who destroyed her family. Regardless of her attraction to the charming man, she has no respect for the way the vampire threatens his way into her agency’s murder case and no trust in him when it’s obvious he’s hiding something.
A cop who tosses the rule books to get his way…Ian doesn't care for Alice’s judgmental opinions on the way he goes about obtaining justice. They are polar opposites, and her humanity makes her off-limits, but that does nothing to weaken his overwhelming desire for her.
A truth that could tear their new love to shreds…When the new case raises the ghosts of an old case Ian believed long dead and buried, his law-bending ways and the secret that haunts him could end with his execution. The second Alice becomes a target, his heart that he’d thought murdered along with his maker flares into blinding existence. But following the law for her sake could end with a devastating repeat of his past.
My Opinion 5 STARS
** Copy provided by Netgalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC for an honest review**
Ok I loved Kade by the end of book one, but now I love Killian McCready (Ian). He has just the right amount of naughty an nice, and just like Kade he has a bit of a dirty mouth along with a sweet soft side. His long term friendships are a joy to see as they rib each other as only the best of friends can do, they are also there for each other in all the ways that matter. Even if it means helping them out to see the bigger picture.
Alice was a very strong character and although things have been tough for her it has never pulled her down. She is also very good at her job.
The chemistry between the two was brilliant, especially the way they kept insulting each other.
We only got to see a little bit of both Val and Kade, but we did get to see a lot more of the team, and got to know each one of them a little better. We Ezra and Dec mainly, and I can't wait for their stories to be told.

The Book
Release Date: 6 June 2014
From the New York Times best selling author of NOT WHAT SHE SEEMS.
Madison Nichols, aspiring actress, is floundering. Her rent is due and she needs a job. Desperately. After getting a tip about an open position, she rushes to Jameson Technologies and meets CEO Jared Jameson. Unfortunately, due to a misunderstanding, she is put in the awkward position of pretending to be his girlfriend. Not the job she was applying for. And when she finds out Jared lied to her to get what he wanted, she decides to get back at him. In front of his family.
Jared is stunned when Madison announces they are getting married. She pushed her revenge too far. How can he tell them it’s all a lie? And when his sick aunt asks them to be married before she dies, Madison comes up with a hair-brained plan to hire an actor and stage a fake wedding.
What they both don’t know is Jared’s father has found out about the fake wedding. And he’s got his own hair-brained plan.
This is a sweet romance, appropriate for any age.

I really enjoyed this book. The story line was good and the character development and interaction was done brilliantly. There was also plenty of moments where I found myself snorting with laughter, let alone laughing out loud due to the dialogue the characters were having.
I did really feel for Madison when Jared went off the deep end after she told his what she had found out. Jared behaved really badly and considering everything, Madison took it all very well and with a maturity you sometimes don't see in a book.
A really good read.

Amazon US ** iBooks ** Barnes and Noble ** Kobo
About BETTER WHEN HE’S BAD: New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Jay Crownover returns with a heart-stopping new series… Welcome to the Point. There’s a difference between a bad boy and a boy who’s bad . . . meet Shane Baxter. Sexy, dark, and dangerous, Bax isn’t just from the wrong side of the tracks, he is the wrong side of the tracks. A criminal, a thug, and a brawler, he’s the master of bad choices, until one such choice landed him in prison for five years. Now Bax is out and looking for answers, and he doesn’t care what he has to do or who he has to hurt to get them. But there’s a new player in the game, and she’s much too innocent, much too soft…and standing directly in his way. Dovie Pryce knows all about living a hard life and the tough choices that come with it. She’s always tried to be good, tried to help others, and tried not to let the darkness pull her down. But the streets are fighting back, things have gone from bad to worse, and the only person who can help her is the scariest, sexiest, most complicated ex-con The Point has ever produced. Bax terrifies her, awakening feelings she never thought she’d have for a guy like him. But it doesn’t take Dovie long to realize . . . some boys are just better when they’re bad.EXCERPT:
I let out the breath I was holding and took another step closer to her. The water was splashing on the sleeve of my shirt as I reached up to grab both of her cheeks in my palms. “Are you scared of me?”
It was the start of the questions I had asked her what felt like a lifetime ago. Her answer didn’t change, but this time when she answered, she was holding back a smile that made my heart hurt. “Terrified, but I kind of like it now.”
“Do you trust me?” My voice broke. I had never really trusted anyone but Race and now there was her and my brother and just all kinds of new things making my life so much more complicated and undeniably fuller.
“With my life. I trust all the parts of you, Bax. You need to know that.”
“You going to go to bed with me?” That made her outright laugh and she reached up to curl her hands around my wrists.
“As often as I can and anyplace in between when the mood strikes.”
The rest of the blood racing around my system went solidly south. I dropped my forehead so it was resting on hers and the water from the showerhead was cascading down around us. I was making a mess, but I didn’t care because I had her, and she was my home. “Do you love me?” The words sounded so foreign, but so right, when I was saying them to her.
She brushed her full lips across mine and the last three months without her faded away. “Do you want me to lie to you or tell you the truth?”
I smiled against her mouth and kissed her back twice as hard as she had kissed me. “Lie to me.”
She reached up and put her arms around my neck and took a step back, dragging me all the way into the shower stall with her. The water was lukewarm at best, and it made me shiver. So did the fact that she started to impatiently pull the tail of my shirt up over my head. A task made increasingly difficult considering I was now soaked head to toe and the material was clinging to me.
“Of course not. You’re the last person in the world I could love.”

Bad Mouth (Immortalis #1) by Angela McCallister
The Book
Release Date: 20 May 2013
After her ex-husband’s obsession with vampires, Valerie Craig is on a mission to stop transformations. Of all vampires, Kade Rollins is the worst of the worst, but when multiple murders plague Seattle, Val is forced to enlist his aid. Kade’s crude wit and seductive nature attract her like no other, but she can’t ignore his violence toward his human servants, no matter her yearning to forget.
She’s torn when she learns Kade may be behind the murders. Val's worked hard to protect humans from vampires, but the truth surrounding the murders could ignite a bloody battle between their races, one humans are sure to lose. Someone is pulling strings to build a vampire army and spark the war—setting Kade up to kick it off. But if she trusts the vampire prince, she risks her job, her integrity, and her heart if he betrays her as all the men in her life have.
My Opinion 4 STARS
It took me a little while to get into this book, however I'm really glad now that I did.
I wasn't sure what to make of it at first with Valerie being more conservative in her ways than I was expecting. The book title also didn't sit right with me. I still think it would be better with a different title, even if Kade Rollins has a dirty mouth.
However it's Kade dirty mouth and the chemistry between the hater's to lovers tale that woo'ed me in. Kade is one seriously hot vampire, stoic when he needs to be and all hot and kinda romantic at other times.
It doesn't take long for both parties to have their preconceptions altered because of one another, especially with their mutual, honesty (to an extent) with one another. Each gets something from the other that they have not had before.
There was lots of twists and turns and I never actually guessed the who-done-it.
The book had some of the original vampire stuff, but they were also given a new twist, so it didn't feel like a lot of the other books out there.

Before He Was Famous (Starstruck #1) by Becky Wicks
The Book
Release Date: 29 May 2014
One guy, one girl. One in the spotlight. One in the shadows.
Falling in love with your best friend isn’t always a great idea, especially when he’s Noah Lockton - the sexiest, most famous new talent on the planet. When 21-year-old small-town photographer Chloe Campbell is offered the chance of a lifetime – to join her celebrity childhood friend Noah on tour as an exclusive blogger for a New York magazine – she’s certain both have put what happened four years ago behind them. But his eyes still burn; his voice is still a jackhammer to her heartstrings; all his songs are about her. Is it possible that that night still haunts them both?
The music industry is a machine, spinning hype and rumors as much as his records. It’s not just Noah’s girlfriends who’ve got it in for Chloe (there’s no stopping the Twitter-obsessed, cat-loving pop-star Courtney Lentini for starters). Pretty soon, the jealousy and media frenzy surrounding these so-called-friends takes a life-changing turn and it seems making love means making enemies at every turn. When tragedy threatens to pull the final curtain on their relationship, both Chloe and Noah must make a choice. As much as this world leaves them starstruck, is living their dream really worth living without each other?
A story of lifelong friendships, love and hope, set in a world of celebrity, fame and social media gone very, very wrong.
From International Bestselling HarperCollins Author, Becky Wicks, comes a new adult romance that will leave you starstruck.
***Warning: this book contains graphic language, sex, and mature situations. Not intended for young adult readers.***

This is a fabulous book, and I was so upset when it ended as I wanted to read MORE. Needless to say it got read in just one sitting, whilst asking my husband not to talk to me.
The book is really well written and has you wondering what its really like for the winners of reality show winners and those around them as the media and the fans go out of control.
Its a friends to lovers book, that again, is written so well, you really imagine thats its happening right before your eyes. It may have taken the pair time to actually get together, but they needed the right time to realise their feelings and, well, to be single at the same time.
This is certainly an author I will be looking out for as I have a feeling that I will love all of her books :)
REALLY looking forward to reading more...

Beneath the Surface (Reluctance #1) by M.A. Stacie
The Book
Release Date: 29 August 2013
Kyran Reese is a man in control. Driven when it comes to work, focused when it comes to play. From his office to the chalk circle of the bare-knuckle boxing ring, his only thought is to win. That thirst heightens when Dale Porter enters his life. His brother’s assistant should be off limits, but her witty comments and sarcastic comebacks have him desperate to get her between the sheets.
When Dale agrees to Kyran’s relationship stipulation of no labels she’s sucked into a whirlwind of lust, money, and underground boxing. Dale fights her growing affection, trying to hide it when the world around them spirals out of control. All too soon she realizes she can’t hide her true feelings any longer.
Has Kyran finally met his match? Could playing to win mean playing for keeps?
My Opinion 3 STARS
** ARC Provided by NetGalley and The Writer's Coffee Shop Publishing House for an honest review**
This book follows the tried and tested formula of slightly tortured sexy alpha male (Kyran) who sees 'the one' (Dale), but doesn't realise it until his comfort and her presence in his life is threatened. I also liked the fact Judah had a 'secret' MAN type of bare fisted fighting thing going on.
Dale who only VERY recently split up with her boyfriend after he broke her heart starts a new job and both fall instantly in lust with each other.
There are plenty of sex scenes, however the emotion doesn't grip you with them. However the dialogue did have me laughing out loud at times, they could really spit and spark.
I liked the interaction with Taylor, but we didn't really get into enough depth as to the reactions and feelings Taylor's action had.

I liked the interaction with Taylor, but we didn't really get into enough depth as to the reactions and feelings Taylor's action had.
