My Review 3 STARS
**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**
I'm in two minds about this book. In some cases i loved it, and yet and times i found the characters too wordy and then wouldn't listen when something came up only to talk later.
This also seemed to happen really fast and a month or two could pass in the next paragraph.
The book is told in a dual point of view, however considering that Heath has just spent fifteen years in prison for a crime that he has not committed, we see none of the anger, hardness and emotion that that length of service will cause. In fact Heath seems like an every day man who wears his emotions on his sleeves around Leah and is a bit too soft.
Considering that Leah is 30 i also find it hard to believe that it takes Heath and her mother telling her to open up her eyes into the kind of man her father is and that he is not a nice guy. No-one is that blind.
The book is written well, however there were areas that just didn't sit quite well for me.
