**Copy Provided by Netgalley and Harper Impulse and Killer Reads for an honest review**

This is what i have come to expect from a Romy Sommer book and it was a brilliant read.  It forms part of the Westerwald series that can all be read as a stand alone and follows the wedding of Phoenix and Max from Waking up in Vegas.

Khara is a waitress who lives in Vegas with her mother in a trailer park and does not believe that good things will happen to her.  This is where she first meets Adam were he does not make a good impression a year before the next time she sees him.

Adam is from a rich family and does not commit to anything, he's a bit of a playboy, but has grown weary of the lifestyle recently, with the death of his cousin he has the chance to change his life, but he does not want to commit, but agrees to think about the request.

Meeting again in Westerwald it does not take Khara long to remember who Adam is, however Adam only finds out near the end.  Both have good chemistry together, but it is Khara who is honest enough to tell Adam what she really thinks about him, enough that he wants to try and change to be a better person.  It is only when he loses her, does he realise what he has lost and what he needs to complete his life.

The description in the book about the places is just brilliant and i am really happy to see other characters from the Westerwald series in this book.

I would highly recommend not only this book, but the rest of the series.

Oh man.  My heart loved Dylan Shipley and Chastity, their story even made me have a few tears a couple of times too.

Dylan is a lovely character, very warm hearted, sexy and protective of Chastity. Chastity however has been in love with Dylan seconds after meeting him and after two years of friendship, she is finally at college with him and struggling more with her feelings and her Algebra.

I really enjoyed how these two interacted and that it was Dylan's housemate Rickie who helped Dylan admit the truth and see more into himself.  In fact i really enjoyed Rickie anyway.

I had a feeling that both families would think nothing of the pair being together and it is when they are home at Christmas that things come to a head for both Dylan and Chastity where they are finally made to choose what they really want for the future.

I so truly enjoyed this book and get the feeling that the next book with be Dylan's twin sister Daphne.  I am also hoping to see more of Rickie.

Once upon a time, Cutter Comstock was the hot older boy who tormented me in high school. Fast forward thirteen years and I find myself in his bed, riding him like the last stud at the sex rodeo…

Needless to say, mistakes have been made…

But as a chef, I turn food flops around all the time. I can turn this around, too. All I have to do is ignore the insufferably gorgeous (and generally insufferable) Cutter until he goes on tour.

Too bad my nemesis has other plans…

Cutter wants my help winning back the one who got away and he knows just the bait to dangle—the chance to open my own restaurant in a dream location.

I can pull off pretending to be the devil’s devoted girlfriend in order to make my dreams come true. Right?

But what happens when my dreams start to include the clever, funny, unexpectedly sweet man Cutter has become?

Can a bad boy rock star and a chronically nerdy chef live happily ever after?

I am not surprised at all that i loved this book by Lili Valente, she is certainly on my list of one-click authors.

Theo and Cutter had a great chemistry together and when Theo finally saw under the veneer of Cutter, she finally sees all of the man, and the man is a seriously nice guy.

Cutter and Theo have been enemies since their school days, but after getting little drunk at a BBQ and finally clearing the air a little, a once night stand ensues and because of a misunderstanding, six months pass before the couple get together again because of a plan that Cutter has in order to get an ex-girlfriend back.

There is certainly sexy times, emotional times, suspense and a happy ever after in this book and you certainly cannot ask for more, this is just a good book.

I am really looking forward to the next stand alone book in this series and cannot wait until Zack gets his happy ever after.

REVIEW - Up to Snow Good by Lili Valente

The Book
Release Date: December 2019

Question: The only thing worse than a streaking Santa dashing naked through my Christmas tree farm?

Answer: Lawrence Beverly, the insufferable Brit who opened a competing farm down the lane, finding out about it.

I loathe Lawrence like cocktail sauce in my cocoa, and there’s no way I’m letting him use Mr. Jingle Balls against me.

Which he totally would.

Any man who would kiss a girl on New Year’s Eve and pretend it didn’t happen the next day can’t be trusted. Last year, I fell for Lawrence’s dreamy accent and gentle touch. This year I’m too smart to let my libido call the shots.

Luckily, I have a plan to take care of my Santa problem. A foolproof plan!

Or so I think, until it goes hideously awry and Lawrence sweeps in to save the day.

Now we’re making out in front of my fireplace and he’s saying all the right things, but can I trust this man with my heart? Or is he still up to snow good?

This is a cute fast little holiday romance that happens before the The Baby Maker (The Hunter Brothers Series) and we get to see a little bit of Emma and Dylan before they make their little pact and get together.

A few misunderstandings and a British boy now making sure that they stay together leaves us with a happy feeling and sad that we did not get a full book by the author as these two could have had more fun together.

Summer agrees to a marriage-of-convenience with her best friend, Carter Wilson, in order to save the family business. But things don't go the way they're supposed to, and she ends up stuck with his obnoxious older brother instead.

Now she's married to Lincoln, a man she doesn't even like. Everything about the marriage is wrong--except the way he makes her feel.

My Review  4 STARS
**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

In this book we get to see a little bit of Savannah and Carter from A Wedded Arrangement.

Summer is a very sweet girl who has been very lonely all her life and has clung to her best friend Carter since he befriended her early on in school.  His brother however has always been kinda mean to her.

With the death of his father Carter is supposed to inherit the family business in which Summer will marry him for a few months to inject some of her inheritance, due to a loop hole this is the only way, however the business gets left to Lincoln the brother with no interest instead.

In a way i was expecting what happened to happen, but i loved how supportive Lincoln was when he was needed and that all three managed to find a balance and a happiness to get what they needed.

Betrayal is all he's ever known, but in her, he'll find a love strong enough to be trusted...

Zephyros Martius is the Supreme God of the West Wind and Spring, but being the strongest Anemoi hasn't protected him from betrayal and loss. Worse, he's sure his brother Eurus is behind it. When Zeph's heartbreak whips up a storm that shipwrecks a human, his guilt forces him to save her.

Ella is drawn to the vulnerability Zeph hides beneath his otherworldly masculinity and ancient blue eyes. And her honesty, empathy, and unique, calming influence leave Zeph wanting...everything. When Eurus threatens Ella, she and Zeph struggle to let go of the past, defend their future, and embrace what they most want--a love that can be trusted.

**My thanks to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC,  for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is a fairly quick read once you get into it, however life got in my way so i had to put in down for a while which vexed me greatly.

Zeph is a character who shoulders his burdens and does not trust as easily as he once did, not has been burned a few too many times and had his heart broken.  His brother Eurus is also a nasty character for sure.

Marcella (Ella) is the last of her family and is coping after the death of her twin brother.  Meeting Zeph after he has a fit of temper creating a storm changes both of their lives.  Both feel attracted to each other, but as both have been burned before, they are struggling with their trust issues and honesty is very important.

We get to see a little of Owen Winters in this book and we get to see a few more of Zephs brothers and their father.

I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading book three.
