Praised by Penelope Ward as “a unique story line with multiple layers to it,” Sarah Robinson’s Saving a Legend goes another round with the brooding Kavanagh brothers: MMA fighters who won’t call it quits in the ring, or in romance.
His family’s gym has produced a roster of mixed martial arts legends, but so far Kieran Kavanagh hasn’t followed in their footsteps. After a brawl lands him in jail, Kieran is assigned to work at a center for at-risk youth. Though given a second chance, Kieran’s simply going through the motions—until he meets one very special kid, Shea Doherty, and falls hard for her very beautiful, very grown-up big sister, Fiona. The trouble is, Kieran’s best opening moves are getting him nowhere fast.
Fiona Doherty has too many responsibilities to fool around, especially now that she has custody of Shea. Sure, she’d love to find a devoted partner. But she won’t jeopardize her sister’s happiness—or risk revealing her tortured past—on a love-’em-and-leave-’em type of guy like Kieran . . . so it’s up to him to prove her wrong. As Fiona spends more time with Kieran, she starts to see a softer side of the reckless warrior. Now she must admit that when it comes to the possibility of real love, well . . . there’s a fighting chance.
Includes a special message from the editor, as well as an excerpt from another Loveswept title.

Although this is the second book in the series, i have not read the first and did not feel like i needed to.
Kieran has just been released from prison and only two days later he meets Fiona in her flower shop and instantly seems to know that she will be the woman for him.
Most of the problems lay on Fiona's end and how she pushes away, especially as she is guardian to her little sister who has Autism. Kieran is very good with Shea (Shay) and helps Fiona over come some things whilst also giving her a loving family and friends for support that she didn't realise she needed.
Kieran is a strong man raised in a very close Irish family who simple accept Fiona. He is persistent in fighting for what he wants and goes and slow as Fiona needs, but pushes when he needs to in order to break through her defences.
Its a well written story that had me wondering right until the end some of the missing details in Fiona life.

We start to get to know Ben a little bit before in books two and three in the series, but this can be read as a stand alone book.
The book takes place well after Ben's return from the dead. He has completed his sentence in Prison and is now on probation.
Juniper feels that her past life choices have made her weak and that her judgement of men is off, but a simple white lie has her pretending to be someone she is not in order to make a new life for herself.
Ben and Juniper have chemistry from the beginning, but with their pasts are slow to start things up with each other, however they find that it is only with each other can they relax and be more of themselves.
We get to see all of the other previous characters in tis book which help out when required showing a strong family bond.
I really liked this book and would be more than happy to read this series all over again.

REVIEW - White Trash Damaged (White Trash Trilogy #2) by Teresa Mummert
The Book
Release Date: 8 October 2013

Rocker Tucker White saved down-and-out waitress Cass Daniels from everyone in her life who was hurting her—except herself. In the much-anticipated follow-up to White Trash Beautiful, Teresa Mummert’s New York Times and USA Todaybestseller, Tucker and Cass are finally together, but does that mean they get their happy ending?
Living on a tour bus with your boyfriend’s rock band is nothing like living in a trailer with your drug-addicted mother—except for the drama. After all the pain and grief that marked the beginning of Cass and Tucker’s relationship, they’re finally building a life together—just the two of them, his three bandmates, some groupies, and thousands of screaming fans. And not everyone is as happy about the couple’s reunion as they are.
The last thing Cass wants to do is create friction within the band—especially when Damaged is on the brink of achieving the success Tucker has worked so hard for. She’s thrilled to finally be with a man who loves and protects her as much as he does. But how can she carve out a place for herself in this new rock star world . . . without being swallowed by the shadow of Tucker’s fame?
My Opinion 3 STARS
This book takes place only a few months after the stop of the previous book and continues the story between Tucker and Cast.
They are now going on tour together with the band Damaged and it goes through the trials and tribulations of finding their feet under stressful circumstances.
With a new band manager that wants them to split up, their are lots of obstacles put in their path which will either make or break their relationship.
Mostly the book deals with the trust between the two along with jealousy. Cass makes new friends and finds a family that she has always longed for along with a new found inner strength.

REVIEW - White Trash Beautiful (White Trash Trilogy #1) by Teresa Mummert
The Book
Release Date: 9 July 2013

A word-of-mouth bestseller that’s captivating readers with its honesty, grit, and headstrong heroine, White Trash Beautiful is a story for anyone who has ever felt trapped in life, cheated by love—and longed for something more . . .
Cass Daniels isn’t waiting for her knight in shining armor. She knows that girls like her don’t get a happily ever after. Not if you live in a trailer with your mom, work at a greasy spoon diner, and get leered at by old men. Maybe that’s why she puts up with Jackson—her poor excuse for a boyfriend, who treats her like dirt. Cass has learned to accept her lot in life. That is, until he walks into her diner. . . .
His name is Tucker White, and he’s different from any man Cass has ever known. Tall, tattooed, and bad-ass gorgeous, he’s the lead singer of the rock band Damaged. From the moment they meet, Tucker sees something in Cass he just can’t shake. Something beautiful. Something haunted. Something special. And he’s determined to find out what it is—if only he can get her to open up and let him in. . . .
My Opinion 3 STARS
**My thanks to NetGalley and Gallery Threshold Pocket Books, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**
Things go really fast in this book in that you get insta-love especially on Tucker's side. Cass we find right from the beginning is the definition of trailer trash and has been working a diner job since she left school and basically pays for her boyfriend and mother to live.
Jax used to be a lovely person but has migrated to drugs and booze and now is the ultimate bad boy, but every once in a while the nice side comes out.
Cass's mother is also high on booze and drugs, thanks to Jax so Cass rarely gets any support from her mother.
Cass has a little too much internal monologue for my liking but the book is only told from her point of view.
Things change when Tucker basically starts to take most of her free time, and slowly things come to a head leaving one almighty blow out.
The story is written well, there are times you really feel sorry for Cass with her upbringing, but i never really got over the insta-love with the up and coming rock star.

Fame, fortune and fashion: that’s aspiring model Deirdre Cash’s ideal life. But when her splashy New York career dries up, she swallows her pride and returns to Marietta, Montana, desperate for any work she can find.
Isaac Litton doesn’t want the intrusion of a home care aide for his brother, Mark. But when the young man takes a shine to DeeDee, Isaac decides to give her a chance. He can’t help but be impressed when DeeDee changes his brother’s life around, by rewarding his healthy habits and exercising with treats from the Copper Mountain Chocolate Shop. Gorgeous and opinionated, DeeDee stirs everything up in the Litton household, including an attraction that Isaac can’t deny.
As DeeDee and Isaac start to fall for each other, an unexpected opportunity arises that could launch DeeDee back into the modeling scene. It’s her chance to achieve everything she’s ever wanted. But taking it would mean letting down her friends at the chocolate shop, her family who believes in her, a boy who adores her, and a man who thinks she’s already perfect, just the way she is.

I can't say that i have read the whole series, but i have read the other book in this series by Roxanne Snopek and i loved that book too.
Deirdre (DeeDee) is the twin sister of Maddie who is in her previous book and she has returned home as her modeling career has not taken off the way in which she had hoped. Re-evaluating her life she meets Issac and his brother Mark.
A push leads her into looking after Mark who has Downs Syndrome and making all of their lives better.
Issac is more reserved, but DeeDee brings all of them out from the shadows and their preconceived ideas to new beginnings and new friends.
DeeDee finds more than friends on her return home. She reconnects with family, finds a man and his brother she turns out to love, but more importantly, she finds herself.
Loved this book.

REVIEW - Sexy Motherpucker (Bad Motherpuckers #2) by Lili Valente
The Book
Release Date: 22 May 2017
When the family dog trots in with my diaphragm in its mouth—in front of my date, his parents, and his adorable little girl—you would think I’d hit rock bottom.
WRONG.
Let’s back this up a sec…
Brendan Daniels is the sexiest man alive. The captain of the Badger’s NHL team is also clever, kind, funny, and was my good friend…until we cruised out of the friend zone one weekend with a red-hot fling. Come Monday morning, I wanted to keep riding the Big O train to happy town, but Brendan wanted someone who was “stepmom” material.
A.K.A, not me, apparently.
The problem? I’m crazy in love with him and his daughter. So when he asks me to be his pretend girlfriend for a long weekend with his former in-laws, I say yes. We’re still friends, after all, and friends don’t let friends fake it alone.
***
Laura Collins is the last woman I should be thinking about taking in the back seat of my car, in the woods behind my in-laws’ house, or in a hotel room where we’re sharing one very small, very squeaky bed.
I need a steady, stable influence for my daughter, not a fling with this too wild, too young, too impulsive red head. So what if she’s beautiful and intense and passionate and has the biggest heart I’ve ever known?
I don’t want to fall in love. I really don’t. The whole “pretend girlfriend” thing was supposed to solve my problems, buy me a little more time.
But when it comes to Laura?
Hell, maybe I’m just not cut out for faking it.
WRONG.

Lili Valente has knocked another puck out of the ice rink with this book, it had me crying, laughing and routing for both of our main characters to get their happy ever after.
Although this is the second book in the series, it can be read as a stand alone even if we were introduced to the characters in the first book.
Brendan is sweet and loyal to what his daughter needs, but has gone without companionship for the last two years, it is only the thought of losing his little girl that spurs him on further to find someone to share his heart and his bed.
Laura has a very soft spot for Brendan's daughter and is the sister of Libby who found her happy ending his book one with their best friend. Laura is the PR guru for the ice hockey team that Brendan plays for and has always thought that he was good looking, he has just been really grumpy and unwilling to cooperate in the PR.
These characters were a good laugh and i will never forget the moment the dog comes in with her contraceptive.
A lough out loud book!

REVIEW - Falling for her Brother's Best Friend (Tea for Two Book 1) by Noelle Adams
The Book
Release Date: 7 June 2017
Goodreads Link
After too many bad decisions in romance, Emma is going on a man-fast. For the next six months, she's fasting from men. No sex. No dating. No soulful gazes. No fond memories of her first crush. She's going to spend the time focusing on her career, getting in touch with herself, and helping her two best friends with the launch of their new tea room. No men.
And that includes her brother's best friend, Noah Hart, who has just returned to their hometown.
She doesn't want Noah anyway. He might be even hotter than he was before, but he's not a nice guy anymore. He's made a fortune by acting ruthless in business, and the last thing he's looking for is small-town domestic life. He doesn't even want to be in town again, but a sick grandmother guilted him into it. Then he has nerve to not even recognize Emma when he sees her again. Maybe it's been seven years, but a decent guy would remember his best friend's little sister.
Noah is not a decent guy. Anyway, Emma is on a man-fast. And she doesn't want Noah.
At all.
Fifteen years ago, three girls were thrown together because their brothers were best friends. Now they're all grown up, and their brothers are grown up too. The Tea for Two series tells their stories.
My Opinion 5 STARS
**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**
This is another great start to a new series from this author and we get to see bits from all of the other characters that will have books of their own.
Emma had a very bad crush on Noah when she was a teenager and when he does not recognise her when he first sees her everything changes, he see's a side of her he has never noticed before.
Patrick, Ryan and Noah were friends so when they were younger they pushed their little sisters, Emma, Carol and Ginny together who also became best friends.
Carol and Ginny have set up a tea shop with the brothers as investors and Emma who did the business plan. Its a business where all have something invested.
Things move very quickly with Noah and Emma and it had me almost in tears sometimes, but they are more open with each other than they expected.
A lovely story that had me wanting to read the other books immediately.

REVIEW - Apollo's 11: A Filthy Rich Single Dad Romance by Anna Collins
The Book
Release Date: 16 May 2017

The moment I saw Calista Cohen, I knew I was screwed. She looked so much like the girl on the painting. I had to find out more.
I was so intrigued to meet the woman who had the nerve to say exactly what she thought of my manuscript that I had to see her in person.
Her review was so insightful, as if she already knew me. It almost felt like a window to my soul.
She should definitely be worth checking.
Suddenly I find myself in her house and I am mesmerized by her sight. She looks divine and sexy as hell. And at that moment, I already know.
I have to have her.
Calista Cohen is going to be mine and there is no way around it.
I am Apollo Irons and I always get what I want.
But I have to be careful. No one must find out my most precious secret.
No one must find out about my son. I can't risk losing him over anything.
*Apollo's 11 is a steamy, yet sweet STANDALONE contemporary romance with a scorching hot alpha billionaire single dad. I don't enjoy cliffhangers or cheating, so I don't include them in my books. I can also guarantee you a super sweet happily-ever-after ♥ Please note this contains a bonus book, both books are full-length novels.
My Opinion 4 STARS
**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**
Apollo Irons is writing his autobiography and has sent it out to a select few to get feedback. It is only Calli that returns negative criticism which has Apollo wanting to meet her and hiring her to ghost-edit his book.
Calli is already in a relationship but Apollo decides that he wants to pursue her, regardless that she has been in a stale relationship for four years.
The chemistry between the two is instantaneous and is purely PG until the inevitable breakup of Calli's relationship with her boyfriend.
The Irons family seem fairly close, well Apollo and Perseus, with their sister Helen only a good thing when she is around.
We get backstabbing wanna be lovers who are friends, business adversaries and a whole lot of angst as to the relationship as to what their "relationship" is.
The writing is good and had me turning page after page, although there are some issues that we sorted a bit too quickly for my liking.
I will certainly be picking up other books by this author.

Series: Kill Devil Hills #4
What happens when the world thought you were dead and suddenly, now you are alive?
Ben Turner is back! Not quite as dead as everyone thought, fresh out of a nine-month stay in prison, and back home in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. Having been dishonorably discharged after charges of desertion from the military, this once well-loved local has fallen from the top. With no plans for college or the future, and hated by the town that once loved him, Ben feels like he’s drowning all over again.
Juniper is pregnant, alone, and running from her crazy fiancé. With only enough money for a one-way bus ticket, she heads to Kill Devil Hills, NC, a town she vacationed in as a little girl, a town she knows, come February, will have plenty of beach rentals to lie low in for the next couple months. Except she didn’t plan on getting caught on day one by the man living next door. Ben. He’s a man who has even more problems than she does, but maybe it’ll take a man like Ben to save her life.
**New Adult Romance. This novel is the fourth book in the Kill Devil Hills series, however it can be read as a standalone. Recommended for 18+

**My thanks to NetGalley and Montlake Romance, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**
This series has continued to get better and better with each book and holy hell, where do i find me an Agent Gill Clausen!!
We get to see a slightly wilder side to Jo along with the other personalities that we know that she has to foster. Jo like her friends finds herself in danger, but this time she has someone else apart from her friends who want to help.
Gill Clausen is a man who has a little wild side, but tempers that with his good side as a federal agent. When Jo comes in for a training course offered by his partner who met and befriended Jo when Hope was missing, Gill finds someone who is his match.
I loved Gill, i loved Jo and the fact we get to see her friends relationships evolve as they continue to be happy since their own books.
This is an author that i always greatly anticipate each and every book and this one has not disappointed.
Another must read book.

In the final book in bestselling author Catherine Bybee’s Most Likely To trilogy, River Bend’s rebel follows in her father’s footsteps to become sheriff. But it might be time to forge her own path…
Some kids inherit a family business; Jo Ward inherited a badge. Once voted Most Likely to End Up in Jail, the town wild child has become sheriff—hell-bent on uncovering the truth about her father’s mysterious death. Life is quiet in rustic River Bend, but Jo longs for something beyond her small hometown and the painful memories it holds. All that keeps her sane is the support of her best friends, Melanie and Zoe.
But when Jo signs up for an expert law enforcement training seminar, she meets Gill Clausen, whose haunting eyes and dangerously sexy vibe just may challenge her single-minded focus. Commitment-phobic Jo can’t deny her attraction to the arrogant federal agent, and when odd things start happening around River Bend and danger surrounds her, she realizes she’ll need his help to discover who’s out to remove her from River Bend…permanently.
As Jo and Gill work together, it’s clear they make a great team. But can Jo loosen her grip on the past enough to let love in and reach for the future?

REVIEW - The Dangerous Billionaire (Tate Brothers #1) by Jackie Ashenden
The Book
Release Date: 2 May 2017
Goodreads Link
Money doesn't always change the man in this new standalone romance from Jackie Ashenden.
Navy SEAL Sullivan "Van" Tate has been called home to reluctantly inherit an empire and finds himself facing the most difficult mission of all: love.
"Sinfully sexy."--Opal Carew on Mine to Take
Nothing about Sullivan "Van" Tate is what it seems. A Navy SEAL raised among the New York City elite, Van prefers heart-pounding action over a Wall Street corner office. But when his adoptive father dies and his business rivals move in to overtake his empire, Van must suit up to save the company and protect the one woman most forbidden to him...and the object of Van's most dangerous desires.
Chloe Tate is as ambitious as she is gorgeous. With a newfound independence, Chloe is no longer a prisoner on her father's ranch. But everything changes when losing her father may also mean losing her life. Even with her survival on the line, Chloe can't deny the burning attraction she feels the moment she locks eyes with Van, her rich, rough and ready, foster brother and the new head of her father's company. Tall, dark, and muscled, he's the one man who she has no business being with. But how can she resist a Navy Seal Warrior when he'll do anything to protect her?
My Opinion 5 STARS
**My thanks to NetGalley and St Martin's Press, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**
A series with three SEAL brothers? Count me in!
Sullivan "Van" Tate is the oldest of three brothers who were adopted and one much younger sister. Van is with his brothers when they all read the letters that their adopted father leaves them and Van has been instructed to look after Chloe as her life is in danger.
Van having been in the Navy has issued to work out and Chloe has her own issues, but mostly it is Van that needs to let go and get through his past.
Cesare de Santis makes an appearance and he is the father of the brothers in the Billionaire Fairy Tales Novella series.
Chloe takes quite a few knocks and her entire world seems to spin around her. The only person she can really trust now is Van, but can she trust him with her heart?
I really loved this book and cannot wait to read Lucas and Wolf's stories.
