This is the second book I have read by this
author, the second book in the series, and I am not disappointed.
We get to see a little of the previous book
couple Brant and Molly, however we do get to see more characters involved which
is nice. Desdi is certainly quite
a character and you cannot help but love her.
Tucker is former military and has not yet
gotten over the death of his friends and team before he came out of the miliary
and struggles especially at night time.
It is only when his world is upended when Elisa collapses in his garage.
Elisa is very much down on her luck and
when she finds herself out of a job and out of her home she packes up her
daughter Daisy Elisabeth and they head out for Charlston, however they never
get there.
Both help each other out in ways that they
did not see coming and it was lovely to see how everyone rallied around and
helped not only Elisa and her daughter, but Tucker too.
I have been really enjoying this series and
cannot wait until the third brother gets his happy ending.
