REVIEW - Vampire in the Jungle by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

The Book
Release Date: 8 September 2023

From New York Times bestseller Mimi Jean Pamfiloff comes Vampire in the Jungle, a Paranormal Rom-Com.

“Bring me that vampire! Or else!”

When a powerful goddess gives Damien one week to deliver the world’s last vampire, he only has one question: “Why is the vampire hiding in the jungle?”

Damien isn’t sure, but he knows what’ll happen if he fails: the insane goddess will execute the only two women Damien’s ever cared for. (It’s complicated.)

Also, there’s the small matter of his assistant, who believes her destiny is to become a vampire herself. (It’s very complicated.)

Unfortunately, the vampire in question hates the modern world, has a severe attachment to his lair, and he makes it a point to kill anyone who gets too close. No mercy.

Can Damien and his crew of supernatural oddballs convince this deadly vampire to come out of hiding before it’s too late?

My Review    5 STARS
**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is the second book in the series and the author constantly delights us with her wonderful brand of humour and wicked writing style in this book.

Damien has recently got two woman back from the dead in his life.  The woman he loved who died with his child and the woman who recently died and he loves in a new way.

In this book we get two main stories all wrapped up in each other.  Damien and his task, but there is the Willa and Sky angle and which woman he is going to choose.  Then there is the Maxton and MF (Mountain Flower) angle and if they are going to get together and whether Vampire Maxton will turn MF as she wants.

We get to see a little of Roberto, Voltan, Belch and Brutus as well as a bit of Minky.

With the authors true brilliant style we get a web of people who have been brought together in some way by Cimil and they have formed a dysfunctional kind of family.

I'm looking forward to see how this series continues in the next book and seeing more of these characters.
