The Book
Release Date: 11 November 2013

Looking for Mrs. Right...

Single father of three, Ross Bencher, knows the kind of woman he wants: someone predictable, reliable, and safe, who can give his kids the security they deserve. Someone entirely different from high-altitude mountaineer Kelsey. Kelsey bewitches him with her long legs and wild passion and is about as far from his ideal as a woman can get, but try telling that to his body. Or his heart...

Falling for Mr. Wrong...

When Kelsey agreed to fill in as a temporary nanny for her best friend’s agency before a big climbing expedition, she had no idea she’d be working for drop-dead sexy Ross Bencher, a man she can’t seem to keep her hands off. She knows if she wants to bring herself—and her father—back alive from the Himalayan Mountains, she can’t afford second-guessing, attachments, or distractions. But Ross’s blue eyes and strong hands leave her gasping...and questioning everything she’s ever known about love

Kelsey and Ross meet up there years prior. He has just signed his divorce papers and Kelsey is about to go on a climb to Annapurna in Nepal. The mountain that killed her mother. Both think each other wrong, but with the chemistry agree to a one night stand with no holds barred. Neither one forgets the other.

Three years later Ross has moved to Denver where his ex-wife and kids are living early as she has an emergent meeting in China for her job and she has hired a baby-sitter to help with the kids.

Kelsey is child phobic but is asked to help her best friend out as all her sitters have varying degrees of food poisoning after a night out. Kelsey reluctantly agrees to help out only to find Ross opening the door to her. Very awkward for both of them.

Ross and Kelsey get off to a rocky start, but two of the kids immediately love Kesley and her outdoorsy type, getting them up and into sporty type things. The eldest child is the hardest to crack until she takes them to a rock climbing wall where he excels instead of his brother at a sport for a change.

The tension between Ross and Kelsey mounts and they end up having sex in the house once the kids have gone to bed after a few failed attempts and a good few passionate kisses.

When a job proposition means that he has to take the kids camping he asks Kelsey for help as none of them has been out camping before. They all love it, however when he has to meet the man he needs to buy land off and he is brandishing a gun, he is appalled to see Kelsey get out of the moving car hands up at talk to the man.

His kids love her and his feeling are getting stronger fuelled by red hot passion in the bedroom. He sees something in Kelsey that know one else seems to see, she doesn't really want to climb Annapurna, shes doing it keep her dad doing anything stupid like kill himself as he goes on the climbs with her.

It is a conversation with his ex wife that leads him to the conclusion that he loves Kelsey and knows he needs to ask her not to make the climb.

After a talk with Ross where she turns the man she loves away, she has a chat with her dad and they talk more than they have in years and get a few things straightened out they should have said years ago.

When her dad leaves she steps outside only to be surprised that Ross is sitting there waiting for her. We get our happily ever after, but it lacks conviction and i would have loved to see a longer epilogue as the ending seemed unfinished.

This said it is a lovely quick read with the feel good factor.
