Turquoise blue waters. Sandy white beaches. Mojitos... Film location scout Kenzie Cole has found herself in paradise. Working in the Caribbean for a week is just what she needs to escape the long line of exes in her closet. Though the last thing she expects is to be picked up at the resort bar by a disgraced former Prince!
Luckily for Kenzie, exile is suiting the man formerly known as Prince Fredrik very well. And it’s not long before his rugged, pirate charm is proving hard to resist.
But Rik’s been spending his time in paradise exorcising demons of his own and he has danger written all over him. If Kenzie was sensible she’d run a mile instead of lose herself to lust - although, they do say sometimes you have to get lost before you can be found….
My Opinion 3.5 STARS

Ok, so apparently this is the second book in the series, the first being Waking up in Vegas.
Kenzie has gone to the Caribbean to scout for filming locations on an up and coming film. Other people have also been sent to other locations, but she is having problems getting anywhere in these islands because she is not a man and has no connections. However she is absolutely sure that these islands are the prefect place for the filming.
After a hard day she goes to the bar and orders Mojitos and meets Rik. What she doesn't know is that Fredrik is a disgraced former Prince of the Waldburg line. Apparently his Princely father, was not actually his father and now his life has changed irreparably.
Having lived in the islands for a while and having grown up their in the summer with his family, Rik has all the connections she needs. Giving her his keys he tells her he will see her tomorrow at ten, then when she leaves he continues to drink. Its his birthday.
Later, early in the morning she is woken up by the hotel manager saying her friend has passed out and could she help. Going down she finds Rik passed out tin the bar with no ID and when she tries his car there is nothing their either. She decides that she will let him sleep in her room on the couch. She finds out who is is, but keeps it quite after reading his brothers note.
The next day, Kenzie see's his tattoos and thinks he is a bad boy. Both her and her friend Lee have made a promise to leave off bad boys and they have always been hurt by them in the past. Putting her feelings in a little box, she goes off with him to the mayor and pleads her case for help in seeing the other islands and gives a good speech about hiring local islander for work when they are here filming.
She gets approval from the mayor and Rik end up agreeing to take her to the islands as other islanders will not set foot on one of the islands and the other is privately owned. By Rik's family.
They set off the next day by private boat and visit the uninhabited island she needs to see. The island is perfect and she takes numerous photos. The sexual tension continues between the pair and he tells her the story that goes with the island.
The next day after sending the photo's she has so far back to England, they go back to the island to see the parts she hasn't already visited. They get lost in the forest, find ruins and a waterfall and then eventually another beach. The sexual tension ratchets up and they have unprotected sex in the water, and nearly again on the beach.
Saneness prevails and they go back to the boat where a sex fuelled Rik, and a box of condoms mean they spend more time together. Back at the island where her hotel is she ends up staying in Riks bed where he is currently living in a friends guest house. The next day he takes her to his island and tells her the truth, he even asks her to stay with him but she can't, she has another job to do.
Rik flies to the UK asking her to help him. He tells her he needs her at a family function, as he won't go without her. ITs his brothers engagement party. She agrees as he knows her weakness is helping other people. She travels with him and is escorted into the palace, where he has promised that she can take photos, the first person ever allowed, and introduces her to his family. He avoids his mother.
The family are surprised that he has introduced her to them after knowing her for such a short time, they see many changes in him for the better. But the past catches up with Kenzie and she sees former friends of a past boyfriend who killed himself.
The next day after going around the palace with his brothers fiancé, she decides she will tell Rik the truth about her past, but the friend, Adam has beaten her to it and is telling him as she listens outside the door. When Rik says nothing she decides the best thing to do is leave.
Rik is upset when he finds she has left and races to the train, only for it to leave as he arrives at the platform. He gets a favour owed to him from his brother and plans his attack. When Kenzie arrives in England, she hears the music she danced to with Rik and other passengers crowding the windows. When they start to clear she sees flowers spelling out the word LOVE.
When she gets off the train she sees that they spell i love you and they are the flowers that we all over the islands. Then she sees that dancers and down at the bottom of the escalator is Rik, and he grins when he sees her.
He starts undressing from the top and she stops him before he takes her aside and tells her that he wants her in his life permanently. A little while later they are on his island and while the film crew are milling about she tells him in a roundabout way that she is pregnant. Needles to say he is ecstatic and they look forward to many happy years together.
It was a lovely light read, perfect for a rainy weekend as a pick me up. The book didn't get too serious and there was a lot of fun and tension between the couple.
