My Opinion 4 STARS
This is not your usual rocker romance book.
For starters Ace Johnson, aka Ace White hates the type of music he sings with his band he also dislikes his bandmates and his band manager.
After finding out that his foster mother has been found unconscious, he leaves the band whilst on tour and head to her bed side where not long after she dies. He runs from the band in order to decide what he wants.
Iris Easton is sorting out her grandmothers trailer after her death and is now in charge of a failing trailer park. Back from New York where she is trying to chase her own singing dream Iris gets a new inhabitant of the trailer park.
Both are immediately attracted to the other, however believing to be the best thing, Ace try to deny the chemistry and give her the cold shoulder, but tends to get rather protective instincts around her.
This is a fast romance book with a good story line and our main characters are actually really sweet but rush a little headlong into things.
A little talking more between each other would have had things going better between our characters, but that would have made for a very short book with no angst.
I am a little sad at the ending however and wish that there was a chapter of a few months down the line with them and their happy ever after.
