Ok, now I can see why everyone thinks this book may be the last one in the series. The way this book wraps up cleanly definitely gives off that impression. However with Seth and Kai without their happy ending I really hope that this is not the end of the series. Those boys deserve happiness and I want to be there when they get it.
Having been on the run for seven years Halina is not the same person as she was before and has learned many ways to defend herself that shock Mitch when he finds her.
Halina was 'the one' for Mitch all those years ago and he never forgot her. When he finds her again he battles hard to get answers for the case, for answers on their relationship and battles to keep them both safe and alive.
The chemistry is explosive between the two and after he has gotten over his anger you can see the love he had, and still has, for Halina.
Also I have to mention that I love Halina's dog Dex. A wonderful character with so much love and loyalty.
I loved this book, but really really hope this is not the last book in the series.
