Watch Me…The first book in New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Cynthia Eden’s sexy new romantic suspense series…DARK OBSESSION.

He was hired to protect her.

Watching gorgeous Gwen Hawthorne wasn’t a hard job—but it certainly was tempting. Chance Valentine had tried to keep his distance from the sexy socialite for years, but when her father hired him to keep watch on her—as a twenty-four, seven bodyguard—Chance knew his control was about to be pushed to the limit.

He’d never wanted another woman the way he desired her. Hot. Intense. Consuming. Being so close to Gwen, Chance knew that he wouldn’t be able to resist her. So he gave into his need, her need, and he took them both to the edge of a dark and consuming desire.

But Chance soon realizes that he isn’t the only one watching Gwen. Someone else is out there, a stalker who won’t rest until Gwen is destroyed. Every day, every moment…Gwen is in danger. And Chance knows that if he can’t unmask the stalker, then he may just lose the only woman he has ever loved.

My Opinion  4 STARS
**My thanks to NetGalley and Hocus Pocus Publishing Inc, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

Chance Valentine is a dark character who didn't have it easy growing up, then entered the army before doing Personal Security.  He has created a business with his three best friends after doing personal security for a wealthy man and his daughter.

Gwen was the daughter of the man Chance worked for and now her father has asked that he step in to save his daughter who has a stalker.  Chance who has always had a thing for Gwen steps u, but doesn't want the man's money.

There are a few times he with-holds the truth from Gwen, but they soon come out along with his passion for her and his loss of self control when he is with her.  Know one makes him feel the way she does.

There are certainly a good few times where Chance has to step in and save Gwens life, especially at the end where the stalker is revealed, and no, i had not guessed who it was.  It was a well guarded secret :)

A good read that had me turning page after page, and I am so glad that I already have the next book in the series to read.
