Private Practice - Samanthe Beck

The Book
Release Date: 23 February 2013

He’ll teach her how to bring a man to his knees…

Dr. Ellie Swan has a plan: open her practice in tiny Bluelick, Kentucky, so she can keep an eye on her diabetic father, and make hometown golden-boy Roger Reynolds fall in love with her. But Ellie has a problem. Roger seeks a skilled, sexually adventurous partner, and bookish Ellie doesn’t qualify.

Tyler Longfoot only cares about three things: shaking his bad boy image, qualifying for the loan his company needs to rehab a piece of Bluelick’s history, and convincing Ellie to keep quiet about the “incident” that lands him on her doorstep at two a.m. with a bullet in his behind.

The adorable Dr. Swan drives a mean bargain, though. If sex-on-a-stick Tyler will teach Ellie how to bring a man to his knees, she’ll forget about the bullet. Armed with The Wild Woman’s Guide to Sex and Tyler’s lessons, Ellie is confident she can become what Roger needs…if she doesn’t fall for Tyler first.

My Opinion  4 STARS

As a debut novel, the quality of the writing is brilliant and the story hit all the right hotness buttons.  It even had me giggling a a few points.

Dr Ellie Swann has come back home to open her medical practice only to hear that her life-long crush RogerReynolds has only just split up with his childhood sweetheart and fiancé of ten years due to an incompatibility in the bedroom.

Thinking that in order to win her man she needs lessons to improve her bedroom skills, the solution lands at her door in the early morning with the name Tyler Longfoot, the resident bad-boy who has been shot in the butt.

In order to stay quiet about being shot she asks him for sex lessons in order that she can be the woman that Roger wants, only she doesn't tell Tyler that.  After having planned and read what material she can in what she wants she marks chapters that she wants to try out.

Tyler and Ellie keep their 'relationship' quiet, however it soon becomes evident to each one separately that they both feel comfortable with each other and they end up sharing more than bedroom action.

It is safe to say this is a book that shows that you don't know what you really want until is there in front of you and you may just have lost it.

A good read.
