My Opinion 4 STARS
**ARC Provided by Netgalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for an honest review**
This book gives a promising start to the new series by Jamie Rush and it looks like all of the novels will be stand alone stories.
In the previous two novellas were were given a taste of the world with the paranormal, but see none of the characters here, which is a shame.
However we are intruded to Ruby and Cyntag, and they have a kinda of love hate relationship.
With the death of her uncle, Ruby is pointed in Cyntag's direction, where she finds out that he is her sworn protector and that the fairy tales that he told her as a child, are in fact true.
The idea of this alternative races are brought out vividly and you can almost imagine it all to be true. The romance between the two is wonderful and its nice to see the relationship from the start to when they finally give into each other.
I look forward to the next book in the series.
