Gadget journalist Christie St. John is more geek than chic. But when research for an article she has to write on online dating leads to the bed of the hottest guy she’s ever met, she knows that if the geek is to keep the hottie CEO, she’s going to have to come out of her digital shell.
Tech mogul Joseph Ashton never expected an Internet blind date to end in the best sex of his life. Yet as the chemistry between him and Christie burns out of control, he can't help but think this woman is out for his money like all the rest. She claims she wants his heart instead – but that’s the one thing he can never give.
My Opinion 4 STARS
I actually really liked this story, yes it could be a little corny at times, but the cheese was good I promise you.
We have Christie, a geek with an unfortunately sad family who do not appreciate the talents she has at either writing or her love of gadgetry and gaming. They come from a land where in matters more who you are and no much money you make.
Joseph is a tech genius and has propelled himself into his work despite the fact he suffers from ADHD. He does tend to use his ADHD as an excuse or a crutch far too often if things don't go right.
The pair however do have chemistry together and I did find myself laughing at times and my husband did catch me with a smile on my face at one point.
The author also gives us decent enough sex scenes that you can get the idea without to much description, but enough to warm you up a little without it feeling like smut.
A decent read.
