For me although this book was good, the first one was that much better.
Loved Wes and his easy going attitude and slight rebelness.
Rubi seemed more put together in the first book, and really fell apart at the seams in this one. She also used the 'i don't know family life' too much as an excuse for the way she is.
It also seemed that Rubi was doing most of the changing and growing, whilst Wes stayed the same which seemed a little unfair.
It was good to see a little more of Jax and Lexi in this book, however it would have been nice to see more girl time between Rubi and Lexi as they can be a laugh when together.
On the whole not bad reading :)
